Method used:

By concentrating on the grammatical pronouns in the Hebrew language,  from Dan 11:45 at the end of the chapter, and working verse by verse proceeding backwards to verse Dan 11:16, one comes to the conclusion that we are talking about one power only. The position taken here is, that the Little Horn power mentioned in Dan 7: and Dan 8: is  referred to in greater detail with pronouns in Dan 11: Even more, these pronouns in Dan 11: reveal that this power is referring to the Roman Catholic church system of worship governed by the papacy, and does not refer to the King of the North or the King of the South according to this study.

Dan 11:45 “he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.”

This is the end of the Little Horn power taking place at the Second Coming.

All Adventist and Protestant theologians would agree on the interpretation at this point. that this power comes to an end in verse 45.

Dan 11:45 “He shall plant his tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain.”

The Little Horn power which is a symbol of Roman Christianity, has planted her system of worship between the seas of wicked nations, peoples (Isaiah 57:20) around the world and the glorious holy mountain which is a symbol of the heavenly sanctuary. (Heb 8:1. Psalms 76:2). Roman Christianity has obscured the work of Jesus Christ in the heavenly sanctuary by their system of forgiveness and worship through the priests and popes[1].

Dan 11:44 “But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many.”

The Little Horn power will try to destroy many referring to all those who do not accept the Roman Catholic system of worship. East and the North refers to the enemies of God´s people in the Old Testament (See my study on Rev 16:12). The following nations came from the East and the North of Israel to battle against the Israelite’s: Assyrian, Babylon, Medo-Persian, Greece and Rome.

Dan 11:43 “He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver.”

Gold and silver are symbols of belief. Rev 3:18 Rev 18:9.10.

There will come a time when Roman Christianity will have power over all those who accept her system of worship.

Dan 11:42 “He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape.”

The land of Egypt from the Old Testament is a symbol of atheism: like Pharaoh who did not recognize the power of God at work through the 10 plagues on Egypt.

Dan 11:41 “He shall also enter the Glorious Land.”

The glorious land is a symbol of Gods kingdom her on earth. There will come a time when the Roman Catholic Church (The Little Horn Power) will enter the protestant kingdom of believers including the Adventist church. Matt 24:24. For false Christ’s and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Many shall be overcome and some will escape. According to the book of Revelation 16:13, the false prophet here would refer to Protestants especially from the USA who have stopped protesting against the Roman Catholic system of worship.

Dan 11:40 has given many problems to our leading theologians in the church. Why? Because they are not using a correct exegesis. They resort to the quick find method like Google on the internet and Bible Commentaries. When you do not do your own exegesis, then you rely on someone doing it for you. That is a great weakness amongst theologians. When relying on other Bible Commentaries, how do you know that they are right?

Let me explain Dan 11:40. “And at the time of the end shall the king of Negev push at him: and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.”

Referring to theologians in the Adventist church who take the position that the Little Horn is the King of the North from let´s say verse 22, this gives us a problem. When using the pronouns and nouns for the King of the North right down to verse 39, then you come to verse 40, this same king of the North meets another King of the North. You cannot have two kings of the North. It cannot be his twin brother either. This gives a problem. Not many theologians mention this problem.

The problem is solved if one takes the view that all the pronouns going backwards from verse 45 to verse 16 refer to the Little Horn power only. Hence, the King of the North is another power which we will deal with in another study.

Dan 11:40 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him.”

The king of the south will be dealt with in another study. However, this King attacks the little Horn power. Dan 11:40 “And the king of the north shall come against him.” This king also attacks the Little Horn power. So we have two kings attacking the little horn power in verse 40. Actually in the Hebrew it is the Little Horn power who attacks the king of the north and the king of the south. It is not the two powers who do the attacking. See my study on Dan 11:40.

The Little Horn power is referred to as the pronoun “he” and nothing else.

Dan 11:39 The pronoun “he” is used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:38 The pronouns “him” and “he” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:37 The pronouns “him,” “he” and “himself” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:36 The pronouns “he,” “him” and “himself” are used for the Little Horn power.

The noun “King” is also used for the Little Horn power in this verse.

Dan 11:35 No pronouns are used her.

Dan 11:34 No pronouns are used her.

Dan 11:33 No pronouns are used her.

Dan 11:32 The pronoun “he” is used her for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:31 The pronoun “him” is used her for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:30 The pronouns “him” and “he” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:29 The pronoun “he” is used her for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:28 The pronouns “he” and “him” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:27 No pronouns are used her.

Dan 11:26 The pronouns “him” and “he” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:25 The pronouns “he” and “him” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:24 The pronouns “he” and “him” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:23 The pronouns “him” and “he” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:22 The pronoun “him” is used her for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:21 The pronouns “he” and “him” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:20 The pronouns “he” and “him” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:19 The pronouns “he” and “him” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:18 The pronouns “he” and “him” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:17 The pronouns “him” and “he” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:16 The pronouns “he,” “his” and “him” are used for the Little Horn power.

Dan 11:16. It seems like the pronouns “he,” “his” and “him” stop here and the preceding verses describe the fight between the king of the North and the King of the South.

Dan 11:16. “But he who comes against him.” “He” refers to the little horn power and “him” refers to the preceding verse power which is the King of the North being the subject of verse 15.

Now if Dan 11:16 is the beginning of the little horn power then there should be some indication from the preceding verses of the other three horns which were trodden down by the little horn as it came to power, as mentioned in Dan 7:8 and Dan 7: 24.

Such a verse implying the three horns is Dan 11:14. www.scripture4all.org “And in those times, there shall be many who stand up against the king of the Negev: also the sons of the robbers of your people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.”

What does robber mean?

As opposed to the thief on the cross, who comes quietly in the night and steals valuables; the robber comes in broad daylight like the robbers in the parable of the Good Samaritan and uses force to take goods and valuables from a person.

Who is the angel talking to in verse Dan 11:16?

It is Daniel the prophet. Dan 10:1 “In the third year of Cyrus the king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel.”

Who are the robbers of Daniels people during the time the angel was talking to him?

Dan 10:1 the Persians.

Who were the robbers before the Persians?

The Babylonians. Ezek 7:22

From these texts, we can see a picture evolving of the statue of different empires as in Dan 2.

Firstly the Babylonians. Secondly the Medo-Persians. Thirdly the Greeks and fourthly Rome.

What did they rob from Daniels people the Israelites?

Their homeland, Israel and Judah. They were deported from Israel to Babylon during the Babylonian captivity during 586 B.C. and before. When some returned from their captivity, they were subject to these powers by the paying of taxes.

According to Dan 2:40, and Dan 7:7.19, the power following Greece is Rome. Rome was a robber of Daniels people. However, the text says in Daniel 11:14 “sons” of the robbers of your people. They were not actually robbers but “sons” of them. This is the subject of the verse and not “robbers” as many theologians have concluded. So we have to find “sons” in the plural which came after Rome and who have fulfilled the vision. Which vision? The vision as a whole previously given in Dan 7: Dan 8: and Dan 9.

Where do we find a plural of powers which came after Rome and fell?

The ten tribes, which were the foundation of Europe are in the plural, but they did not all fall. There were only three tribes that fell, according to the vision. Dan 7:7.8. Dan 7:20.21.

Dan 7:23.24. These are the three kings Visigoths AD 508, Vandals AD 534, and Ostrogoths AD 538. These are the “sons” of the robbers coming after Rome. Therefore Dan 11:14 is referring to the starting point of the Little Horn power after subduing the three tribes: the “sons” of the robbers. This is also the starting point for the pronouns used for the Little Horn such as “he,” and “him” right through to verse 45.

Conclusion:

From this study, we can say that the little horn power is not mentioned as the king of the north, nor is it referring to the king of the south. The Little Horn has no name or symbol. The Little Horn power is referred to as only in the grammatical pronouns such as “he” and “him.” Why? It may be the same reason why the Roman Catholic Church system or the papacy is not mentioned by name in Rev 13:1-10.

Daniel 11:40 How are the Jesuits influencing world politics? https://www.ayindk.com/daniel-1140/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=daniel-1140 Thu, 16 Jan 2014 10:00:00 +0000 http://ayin.dk/?page_id=33

http://thelowdown0.blogspot.dk/2014/02/the-jesuits-and-new-world-order.html#.WFE5GvkrLIU

Alberta Rivera an ex Jesuit priest tells about the New World Order and how the Jesuits are influencing world politics?

Ignatius Loyola is the one above who started the Jesuits.

Daniel 11:40 a. and in the time of the end he shall gore (pierce with horns) with him king of the Negev and he shall (excite) horror on him king of the north in chariots and in horsemen and in ships many ones and he comes in lands and he overwhelms and he passes. (This is the Hebrew direct translation from Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia[1] and from www.scripture4all.org).

Daniel 11:40 b.   At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the King of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. (New King James Version[2]).

When looking at the two translations above, we have two different readings. Furthermore, referring to www.biblehub.com there are 24 bible translations of Daniel 11:40 and the majority agree with the New King James Version. In addition, the five SDA theologians I have mentioned in the introduction along with many other Protestant theologians agree with the majority of the English Bible translations and not the direct Hebrew translation. So why is there a discrepancy between the two bible translations?

John Wycliffe in the 14th century translated the first English Bible from the Latin Vulgate Bible and not direct from the Hebrew. The Latin Vulgate translation from Greek to English is very good for New Testament studies and is excellent for directing the pathway to Christ for salvation. However, the Latin Vulgate has its drawbacks when encountering the Hebrew language, especially in the translation with Daniel 11:40. In addition, the LXX Septuagint Greek Old Testament partly supports the Hebrew text and is the only exception from all the other Bibles. The Septuagint states “And at the end of the time, he shall conflict with the king of the South.” They have translated it to say that it is the pronoun “he” who does the conflicting with the king of the South. It is very important when in translating Dan 11:40 one should keep to the Hebrew direct translation as in www.scripture4all.org or the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, otherwise one can come to another conclusion.

So the 24 English translations of the Bible have all followed suit in verse 40 and translated from the Latin Vulgate instead of the original Hebrew. Why? This is one of the anomalies that cannot be explained in Bible translation. However, the Jesuits have a considerable influence on how many Bibles are translated through universities around the world.

Let us continue with our study of Dan 11:40. If one takes the view that all the pronouns going backwards from verse 45 to verse 16 refer to the Little Horn power only, in the Hebrew grammar. Then in verse 40 we find that it is the Little Horn power who does the attacking, both against the King of the South and against the King of the North, and not vice versa. This Great War is in the future. The Middle Ages are over in this text, so we are referring to a great war in the future based on religious beliefs, which may refer to the last war on this earth called Armageddon (see Dan 11:44.)

Some commentaries suggest that the king of the South attacks the King of the North to explain the text another way. However, in the Hebrew it is the pronoun of the text who does the attacking and the King of the South and the King of the North are on the receiving end.

Let us analyze the text grammatically:

Dan 11:40. and in the time of the end he (Subject) shall gore (Verb) (pierce with horns) with him king of Negev (Object) and he (Subject)  shall (excite) horror (Verb) on him king (Object) of the north in chariots and in ships many ones and he (Subject) comes (Verb) in lands and he (Subject) overwhelms (Verb) and and in horsemen he (Subject) passes (Verb).

It is very clear from the Hebrew sentence construction, that it is the subject pronoun who does the attacking in verse 40 and not the object pronoun. Hence, the papacy is the personal pronoun subject, and the king of the South and the King of the North are the objects. The Hebrew grammar sentence construction agrees harmoniously with one another. This Hebrew translation can have a large major impact on our understanding of the text and it can have a profound change to where the text is leading us to.

“The time of the end,” refers to the date between 1798 and 1844, and thereafter. This is the period when the Dark Ages of papal rule ended. The traditional Adventist interpretation of the text from the New King James Version says that this was the period when the French Revolution occurred and the pope was taken into captivity. This resulted in the papacy losing its original power and authority like in the Dark Middle Ages. However, we must remember that although one head was wounded (Referring to Rev 13:1-3), there were six heads left over with horns and crowns. This means that though the papacy was inflicted with a wound, she still retained much of her power, authority and influence in Europe´s political affairs. She is still active, alive and kicking and not fully dead as Adventist theologians might suggest.

Dan 11:40. and in the time of the end he shall gore (pierce with horns) with him king of the Negev

This “time of the end” refers to the verses from Dan 11:40 to Dan 12:2 This is the period from the end of the Middle Ages at the time of the French Revolution in 1798 to the Second Coming of Christ and the day of resurrection.

Dan 12:1.2. “At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.”

“At that time” in Dan 12:1 is referring to the Second Coming of Christ and the day of resurrection. So the time span of the “time of the end” is between 1798 and the Second coming of Christ. However, Christ did not come to the earth in 1844 or after. Ellen G. White writes in the book Testimonies to the Church vol. 6, published in 1900: “Had the purpose of God been carried out by His people in giving to the world the message of mercy, Christ would, ere this, have come to the earth, and the saints would have received their welcome into the city of God.”

So we are talking about a short period of time for the “time of the end” if Christ would have come between 1798 and the second half of the 19th century. However, Christ Second Coming has been prolonged to over 100 years due to the Church not fulfilling its mission to the world.

In the time of the end he shall gore. At the time of 1798 to 1844, “he” that is the papacy shall gore the king of Negev. The time of the end is the start of the goring from the Papacy. Goring has to do with animals like a bull gores a man to death with its horns. This you can see on you tube.com with Spanish bull fights. But in this case the goring by the papacy towards the king of Negev is not unto death. The King of Negev represents the wicked all over the world, but especially the wicked people in France during the French revolution. How did the papacy gore the wicked people in France? By withholding from the people the scriptures of the Bible, hence leading them down the line to immoral practices for example persecution and the guillotine experienced during the French Revolution against the nobility, the clergy and many believers in Christ.

Because the verses from 40 to 45 refer to 1798 and the future I will use my prerogative in writing this article, and make use of Ellen G. White´s writings regarding future prophecy. Ellen G. White had received visions from God about the future and makes these verses very clear in what will happen just before Christ´s Second Coming. The quotations are taken at random and not in a logical time frame. One can check these quotations from the website www.whiteestate.org

  1. That terrible out breaking (French Revolution) was but the legitimate results of Rome´s suppression of the scriptures[3].
  2. The same master spirit that urged on the St. Bartholomew massacre led also in the scenes of the (French) Revolution[4].
  3. The King of France, urged on by the Romish priests and prelates, lent his sanction to the dreadful work (of the St. Bartholomew massacre)[5].
  4. It was popery that had begun the work which atheism was completing. The policy of Rome had wrought out those conditions, social, political and religious, that were hurrying France to ruin[6].
  5. With the flight of the Huguenots, a general decline settled upon France. The Jesuits alone flourished in the decaying nation (France) and ruled with dreadful tyranny over churches and schools, the prisons and the galleys[7].
  6. By working upon the jealousy of the kings and the ruling classes, Rome had influenced them to keep the people in bondage, well knowing that the state would thus be weakened, and purposing by this means to fasten both rulers and people in her thrall – – -. But the outworking of all this was widely different from what Rome had purposed. Instead of holding the masses in blind submission to her dogmas, her work resulted in making them infidels and revolutionists[8].
  7. Unhappy France reaped in blood the harvest she had sown. Terrible were the results of her submission to the controlling power of Rome[9].
  8. It was in 1793 that the decrees which abolished the Christian religion and set aside the Bible, passed the French assembly[10].

Historical Information

(Walker 521[11]). A large part of the French clergy, were also hostile to the Jesuits. In 1764 the Jesuits were suppressed in France. – – -. Pope Clement XIV abolished the order (Jesuits) in July, 1773 – – -. Then in 1793 came a royalist and Catholic uprising in La Vendee, and in retaliation the Jacobin leaders sought to wipe out Christianity. Hundreds of ecclesiastics were beheaded – – -. In 1798 Rome was made a republic by French arms, Pope Pius VI (1775-99) was carried a prisoner to France where he died.

(Walker 522). The papacy profited by all these impulses that is (Napoleon´s downfall: Romanticism: Catholic revival) and soon developed a strength greater than it had shown for a hundred years. A characteristic evidence of this new position of the papacy was the restoration, by Pope Pius VII, in August 1814, of the Jesuits, who speedily regained their old ascendancy in papal counsels – – -.

(Walker 519). As against his own subjects, Louis XIV´s policy was determined by his conception of national unity and Jesuit influence, especially after his marriage to Madame de Maintenon in 1684. In 1685 he revoked the Edict of Nantes and made Protestantism illegal under the severest penalties.

(Walker 520). For France the expulsion of the Huguenots and the triumph of the Jesuits were great misfortunes.

So who are the modern Jesuits of our time?

Let me first explain that when an author quotes facts against an organization in their book and the organization does not want to admit to these facts, they can call the author a liar or to put it in a milder way a “conspiracy theory”. This is the case with the book “Grey Wolf” written by Simon Dunstan and Gerrard Williams. They write about the Second World War and how the Jesuits in the Roman Catholic Church have helped Hitler and many Nazi leaders to escape to Argentina. That is why no one has ever found the body of Hitler at the end of the Second World War.

I quote from the book, “On June 6, 1947, Eva Peron the wife of President Peron took a plane to Europe to arrange the escape of Boreman and other Nazi war criminals to Argentina. “Traveling ahead of Eva´s party was Father Hernan Beitez, a Jesuit priest and an old friend of her husband. Benitez had been briefed by Cardinal Antonio Caggiano, the archbishop of the Argentine city of Rosario, who was a strong link in the chain that led escaping Nazis to their new lives in Argentina – – – . Bishop Alois Hudal was Bormann´s main contact in the Vatican. A committed anticommunist, the Austrian born, Jesuit trained Hudal had been a `clerofascist´ (clerical supporter of Mussolini) and an honorary holder of the Nazis´ Gold Party Badge – – – -. Among the thousands of men Hudal helped to escape justice, were the commandants of both Sobibor and Treblinka extermination camps, SS lieutenants Franz Stangl and Gustav Wagner”[12].

Martin Boremann

The book states that, “Capt. Ian Bell, a war crimes investigator based in Italy from the British Army´s Judge Advocate General´s office, had been tipped off about Bormann´s presence. Bell who had captured a number of wanted Italian war criminals was ordered by head office to let Bormann escape through the Vatican rat lines.

Bell states, ”we were sure that the Vatican had a lot to do with Martin Bormann´s escape, because nowhere down the whole line was he ever stopped by the Carabinieri (the military force charged with police duties among civilian populations in Italy) or any army personal; he was allowed through with complete liberty. It has been well organized. Who else could do that but the cooperation between the Vatican and the Italian government?”

“Martin Bormann arrived in Buenos Aires on May 17, 1948, on the ship Giovanna C from Genoa – – -. He was dressed as a Jesuit priest, and he entered the country on a Vatican passport identifying himself as the Reverend Juan Gomez. A few weeks later he registered at the Apostolic Nunciature in Buenos Aires as a stateless person and was given Identity Certificate No.073, 909.”[13]

David Yallop a noted authority on the criminal laundering of finances of the Vatican wrote in his second book “The Power and the Glory”: “Among those smuggled out of Europe with the full knowledge not only of the Pope Pius XII and his secretary of State Cardianl Montini, but also British and US high command, were Klaus Barbie, Ante Pavelic, Adolf Eichmann, Heinrich Muller and Franz Stangl. The total number of war criminals who escaped to new lives through the Vatican´s ratline was in the excess of 30,000.”[14]

Further activities by the Jesuits and Roman Catholics during the Second World War were in the country of Yugoslavia. Yallop states in his book “The Power and the Glory” “On 10 April 1941 the German 14th Panzer division had entered the Croatian capital of Zagreb to flower-strewn enthusiastic welcome from the Croatians. Within hours, a German envoy announced the formation of the Independent State of Croatia, the ISC, under the ´Poglavnik´ (Fuhrer) Ante Pavelic, Croatian leader of the fascist Ustashi terrorist movement – – – . On taking office Ante Pavelic stated: It is the duty of the Ustashi movement to ensure that the Independent State of Croatia is ruled always and everywhere only by Croatians.”

Yallop goes on further to explain the reason for installing the Ustashi movement defined by Mile Budak the Minister of Education and Culture of Croatia during that time. “The basis for the Ustashi movement is religion. For minorities such as the Serbs, Jews and Gypsies, we have three million bullets. We will kill a part of the Serbs. Others will we deport and the rest we will force to accept the Roman Catholic Religion. Thus the new Croatia will be rid of all Serbs in its midst in order to be 100 per cent Catholic within ten years.” All this was going on with the full knowledge and support from the pope. “In carrying out these acts, the Ustashi were from the very beginning assisted by the Roman Catholic Church both in Rome and within Croatia. Within days of Pavelic´s installation, Archbishop Aljzije Stepinac of Zagreb strongly recommended to the papal nuncio in Belgrade that the Holy See should immediately recognize the Ustashi regime, as the legal government of the annexed country.”

As a result of the Ustashi´s work of extermination, Yallop again says “By the end of 1943 at least 600,000 people were killed – – -. To that total must be added at least 350,000 non-Catholics butchered in their homes – – -. Another 250,000 were forcibly converted to Catholicism although many of them were then murdered, and a further 300,000 or so were driven out of Croatia[15].”

We must keep in mind that if the Jesuits along with the Roman Catholic Church come into power in the future and have control of the whole world, the same strategy would be implemented as that by the Ustashi in Croatia.

Pope John Paul I

Let us come closer to our day and age in the 1980´s with David Yallop´s book called “In God´s Name”[16]. On the back cover he writes “During the late evening of September 28th or early morning of September 29th, 1978, Pope John Paul I, Albino Luciano, known as the smiling Pope, died only thirty three days after his election. David Yallop began his investigations into his death at the request of certain individual’s resident in Vatican City who were disturbed by a cover-up of the true, circumstances surrounding the discovery of the Pope´s body. It his conviction that murder was the fate of Albino Luciano. Over three years of continual and exhaustive research, David Yallop uncovered a chain of corruption that linked leading figures in financial, political and clerical circles (of Roman Catholics) around the world.

At the finish of the book, Yallop comes to the conclusion that there were three suspects to the murder and top of the list was the treasurer of the Vatican Bank Bishop Marcinkus. After the book was published, Interpol police tried to get Marcinkus extradited from the Vatican but the Pope refused. When Marcinkus went into retirement he travelled back to his own home state in Phoenix, Arizona, USA and settled down to retirement in Sunshine City with no police to arrest him. Not even the President of the United States of America could extradite Marinkus to Italy. Why? Because the Roman Catholics have an immense political power in the United States.

Dan 11:40 He shall (excite) horror on him king of the north in chariots and in horsemen and in ships many ones and he comes in lands and he overwhelms and he passes.

This “time of the end” refers to the verses from Dan 11:40 to Dan 12:2 This is the period from the end of the Middle Ages at the time of the French Revolution in 1798 to the Second Coming of Christ and the day of resurrection.

At the end of the Middle Ages a nation had just started up in 1799 called the promised land for many protestants, leaving the persecutions from the papacy in Europe. This land was called North America and later became the United States of America.

In the book of Revelation 16:12-14 under the sixth plague, we have three great players in this world´s political arena, fighting for world dominance. We have the beast. who represents the papacy. We have the false prophet. who represents the protestants living in the USA. And we have the kings of the earth. In comparing Rev 16:12-14 with Dan 11, the kings of the earth are compared to their leader the king of the South. The beast representing the papacy is compared to the personal pronouns of “he and him”. The false prophet representing the protestants in the USA, are compared to the king of the North.

So in Dan 11:40 we have a picture of “he” the papacy piercing with its horns the king of Negev, representing the kings of the earth supported by their nations. Then “he” the papacy shall excite horror on him the king of the North, representing the protestants in the USA. The papacy will overwhelm the protestants in the USA and take over their country. This sounds impossible looking with our eyes now. But there will come a time when the papacy will control the financial situation in the USA and the whole world. This is when we study the number 666 in Rev 13:18.

OK! How are the Jesuits combined with the papacy going to control the protestant nation in the USA?

Abraham Lincoln´s view of the Jesuits.

I would like to concentrate a little time on the secret group in the Roman Catholic Church called the Jesuits. When surfing the internet, one can come to the conclusion that they are involved in world conspiracy theories and they are the figment of one’s own imagination. However, Abraham Lincoln president of the USA during 1861-65 thought that they were a very dangerous political force trying to undermine the USA. This quotation is taken from the book “Fifty Years in the Church of Rome” by Charles Chiniquy, and is cited in http://mygospelworkers.org/mgwministry/i-see-a-very-dark-cloud-on -our-horizon-an, referring to the American civil war between north and south over slave trading.

“The common people see and hear the big, noisy wheels of the Southern Confederacy´s cars; they call Jeff Davies, Lee, Toombs, Beauregard, Semmes, etc., and they honestly think that they are the motive power, the first cause of troubles. But this is a mistake. The true motive power is secreted behind the thick walls of the Vatican, the colleges and schools of the Jesuits, the converts of the nuns, and the confessional boxes of Rome. There is a fact which is too much ignored by the American people, and which I am acquainted only since I became president, it is that the best, the leading families of the South have received their education in great part, if not whole, from the Jesuits and the nuns. Hence, those degrading principles of slavery, pride, cruelty, which are as second nature among so many of those people. – – -. You do not ignore that the first settlers of Louisiana, Florida, New Mexico, Texas, South California and Missouri were Roman Catholics and that their first teacher were Jesuits. – – -. Unfortunately, the Jesuits and the nuns have in great part remained the teachers of those people since. They have continued in a silent, but most efficacious way, to spread their hatred against our institutions, our laws, our schools, our rights and our liberties in such a way that this terrible conflict became unavoidable between the North and the South. As I told you before, it is Popery that we owe this terrible civil war.”

“I do not pretend to be a prophet. But though not a prophet, I see a very dark cloud on our horizon. And that dark cloud is coming from Rome. It is filled with tears of blood. It will rise and increase until its flanks will be torn by a flash of lightening, followed by a fearful peal of thunder. Then a cyclone such as the world has never seen, will pass over this country, spreading ruin and desolation from north to south. After it is over, there will long days of peace and prosperity: for popery, with its Jesuits and merciless Inquisition, will have been for ever swept away from our country.” When will Popery and the Jesuits finally be eliminated? This will occur at Christ´s Second Coming according to the book of Daniel.

According to Abraham Lincoln, the Jesuits were not a fictitious group operating within the bounds of the Vatican trying to overtake the world in some conspiracy theory. They were an active political force trying to undermine the USA.

Ronald Reagan

In Yallops book “Power and the Glory” he writes about Ronald Reagan. “Though not himself a Roman Catholic, Ronald Reagan numbered a great many who were among his close friends and acquaintances. His cabinet included a disproportionate number: Haig, Donovan, Bennett, Heckler and Clark. Among his speech-writing team and staffers in the Office of Public Liaison were Peggy Noonan, Pat Buchanan, Linda Chavez, Bob Reilly, Carl Andersen and Tony Dolan, all of them devout practicing Roman Catholics. There were also National Security Advisors Richard Allen, Director of the CIA William Casey, William Clark, Vernon Walters and Ed Rowny.”[17]

When you have so many Roman Catholics working in the government and among them maybe some Jesuits, no wonder ex-president Jimmy Carter a Baptist, wrote most of his letters by hand and not on the computer. Why? To avoid screening and spying from the National Security consisting of many Roman Catholic personal.

In the book” Catholic Power Verses American Freedom” by George La Piana a Roman Catholic priest and professor of Church History at Harvard University and social ethics activist John Swomley, states “One of the most important ways the Catholic hierarchy in the United States has influenced and changed public policy is through direct meetings with presidents and presidential candidates. With few exceptions, these meetings have been secret, known only to Catholic writers or kept unpublicized by an intimidated secular press. These meetings have occurred chiefly because the cardinals and bishops have created the illusion that they control the votes of American Catholics and can deliver those votes to presidential candidates who accept Vatican policies.”[18]

The Catholic bishops´ main target of discussion is their policy against abortion and using contraceptive birth control. Presidents who have succumbed to the American Catholic bishops´ request are Ronald Regan[19], Jimmy Carter[20], Gerald Ford[21], George H.W. Bush[22]. The only exception, who defied the American Catholic bishops and got voted in as president, was Bill Clinton[23].

The above information is only the tip of the iceberg of what the Jesuits are doing to influence and control governments around the world. After all, with over one billion members in the Roman Catholic Church, the Jesuits have a solid backing to help them to achieve their goals, and there are not many politicians that can stop them.

Daniel 11:42-43 The New World Order verses God´s commandments https://www.ayindk.com/dan-1142/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dan-1142 Sat, 18 Jan 2014 08:00:00 +0000 http://ayin.dk/?page_id=40 Daniel 11:42 a. and he shall send hand of him in lands and land of Egypt not she shall become to deliverance. (Hebrew direct translation)

Daniel 11:42 b. as “He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape”. (Hebrew/English translation)

The text is talking about some kind of control and rulership the papacy shall impose on lands in the future. Shall we look at the land of Egypt as literal interpretation or figurative in this text? Well the king of the north and the king of Negev are interpreted figuratively in the whole chapter, therefore we shall do the same here.

Egypt the land of Pharaoh, who went against God and Moses,  said before the 10 plagues came upon the land, Ex 5:2 And Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go.” The word Egypt is a symbol of atheism or unbelievers all over the world. These will not escape the hand of the papacy´s controlling power to decide what they should believe in. The Little Horn will decide for them all, even if they do not want anyone compelling them.

Daniel 11:43 a. and he rules in reserves of the gold and the silver and in all of coveted things of Egypt and Libyans and Ethiopians in steps of him.

Daniel 11:43 b. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians at his steps.

One is tempted to translate the gold and silver as literal here in the text; however, one will be out of harmony with the method of using a literal interpretation with the rest of the chapter.

What do the symbols of gold and silver mean in prophecy?

They are symbols of belief, faith, teachings from the Bible, preaching, doctrines and practicing ones faith. Hence, the papacy´s power will have powers to impose worship, belief, faith, doctrines and preaching in the future over every atheistic believer and Christian believer in the world. How?

Rev. 13: 17. ”No one may buy or sell”

Most Bible commentaries interpret the text above literally. This means the ‘buying and selling’ of goods such as food and clothing as a means for survival. However, there could be an alternative view and that is the spiritual interpretation. For example in Rev. 3:18 the SDA Bible Commentary interprets this verse to the church at Laodicea, spiritually[1]. “I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.”

The spiritual interpretation for gold is faith tried in fire. 1 Pet 1:6.7. The white garment is a symbol of Christ’s righteousness. Rev 7:13.14. Isaiah 61:10. The eye salve represents the Holy Spirit. Ephes 1:17.18. Laodicea is a symbol of the church living in the in last days before Christ’s Second coming. Christ invites us to buy faith, his righteousness and the Holy Spirit. With what? What do we have to offer? Money and worldly possessions cannot purchase them. Christ wants our hearts or our lives to be exact, and in return, we get more than he is offering in the verse. We become members of Christ’s family and part of God’s kingdom.

Let us look at Rev. 18:11 “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore.” This chapter tells of the downfall of spiritual Babylon, which in a nutshell is a symbol of all false gods, false religions and churches with false teachings hat are not from the Bible. The merchants are a symbol of all peddlers who sell their spiritual merchandise of false doctrines and policies to all people on this earth. It is interesting to note that the first merchandise to be named in the following verse is gold, which is a symbol of faith, but this would be a false teaching of faith. The word ‘buys’ is interpreted spiritually in this verse.

Now let us look at Rev. 13:17. Shall we take these words of ‘buying and selling’ literally or should it have a spiritual application? As a rule of interpretation, if the context is interpreted spiritually then this verse should also be interpreted spiritually. The context is Rev. 13:11-18 and is about the beast with the lamb like horns, which we interpret to mean the USA. All of the symbols in this text have a spiritual application, so we do injustice to the text to interpret verse 17 as literal only.

If we give this verse a spiritual application, what would ‘buying and selling’ mean?

From Rev.3:18 we have the spiritual interpretation of buying and selling related to faith, Christ’s righteousness and the Holy Spirit. Rev. 13:17 is telling us of a power in the future which will prevent us from preaching and teaching doctrines related to our faith, Christ’s righteousness and the Holy Spirit.

We relate this text to the future, but there are laws now on the statute books, preventing us preachers and teachers in expounding the whole Bible.

We have all heard of Salmon Rushdi, the Muslim author who wrote against his religion, and as a result, a death sentence was pronounced on him from his religious community. Then there was the Muhammed cartoons printed in the ‘Jutlands Post’ newspaper here in Denmark last year, which caused quite a reaction from the Muslims in the east. Then there was the terrorist attack on the twin towers in New York, USA.

All these conflicts and many more around the world have given rise to the bringing in of ‘Hate Laws’ on the statute books in some countries. What are ‘Hate Laws’? They are laws of discrimination, which have been made by governments during the past 10 years. When you type ‘Hate Laws’ on the internet in Google, you find these laws in different countries of the world which discriminate between people of different ethnic origins, skin color, race, religion, sexual orientation and nationality.[2] If you criticize in word or look at another person in a peculiar way, then you are in danger of being taken to court and be sentenced from 2 to 14 years imprisonment in some countries. Even the Queen of England supports this law,[3] which was incorporated into the British legal system in April 2007. This is called the equality act.

The following is taken from an article which is located at: http://www.christianitytoday.com/gleanings/2015/june/supreme-court-states-cant-ban-same-sex-marriage.html

On Friday the 26th June, 2015, “the US Supreme Court ruled 5-4 today that State bans on same-sex marriage are no longer legal in America.”

The U.S. supreme court

What does this mean? It means all homosexual men and lesbian women have the right to get married in the USA and no one has the right to criticize them for doing so.

What does this law mean for all Bible believing Christians in the USA? It means that there is a conflict between the US law and the Holy Bible. The law says one thing and the Bible says the opposite. This will bring conflict to many court sessions in the USA. This law also means that Christians will no longer be able to preach and teach from the Bible in our churches and in our schools and colleges against homosexuals and lesbians. One cannot uphold the traditional marriage union of man and wife only. This law will be interpreted in the Courts in this way, that the marriage union between homosexuals and lesbians is equal to that of man and wife. This law will go directly against the teachings of the Bible.

This is a strange new law because it goes directly against another law in the USA, which is called the “First Amendment” giving protection to all religious groups who advocate the traditional marriage union from the Bible. This new law will be implemeted in the future in many countries of the World and is already on their statute books awaiting to be enforced.

For example in 2002 the Swedish government passed a law prohibiting unfavorable speech towards Homosexuals, bisexuals and heterosexuals. On the 29 June, 2004 a Pentecostal pastor preached a sermon in his church, citing from the Bible against homosexuals, saying that it was sinful. He was taken to court and sentenced to 30 days imprisonment. His lawyer made an appeal and the pastor was later released. You can read his full story and sermon on the internet.[4]

Ellen G. White writes in the book “Confrontation” Grantham, Lincs: Stanborough Press, 1978, page 459. “And the Bible teaches that a time is approaching when the Laws of the State will so conflict with the law of God that whosoever would obey all the divine precepts must brave reproach and punishment as an evil doer.” It seems like this prophecy is on its way to be fulfilled.

Update on the first casualty as a result of the Supreme Courts decision can be seen on the internet FoxNews.com called “The Christian purge has begun: Chaplain banned from preaching that homosexuality is a sin, by Todd James, published August 11, 2015.

“Chaplain David Wells was told he could either sign a state-mandated document promising to never tell inmates that homosexuality is “sinful” or else the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice would revoke his credentials. David Wells could not sign the document and he was fired after 13 years of ministry to underage inmates.”

Update on the second casualty 4th September, 2015, as a result of the Supreme Courts decision can be read on the www.DailyMail.co.uk and other websites. “Kentucky clerk jailed for defying court orders on gay marriage. Kim Davies has said that her Christian faith should exempt her from signing the licences for gay marriages.” “US District Judge David Burning said to Kim Davies, 48, she would stay behind bars until she complied with his order to resume issuing the licences.” Davies has been released after one week in jail.

This is the first of many Christian casualties to come, because of the Supreme Courts law on homosexuality, which now takes precedence over the First Amendment. It is amazing that we do not hear any sermons in the Adventist church or any other protestant church against the Supreme Courts decision going against the First Amendment. This is a milestone in prophetic history. Prophesy is being fulfilled and we are silent. A man is fired from his job and a woman is sent to prison, because they believe in the Bible. What is the Protestant Church saying about this event? Not very much. Lord forgive us of our passiveness in the present world of today.

I have received a link from a friend of mine, if you go on Google and type ADTV News Liberty of Conscience with Michael Mc Caffrey one can hear about this incidence with Kim Davies and much more.

What implications do these ‘Hate Laws’ have on the future preacher and teacher of the Bible?

There will come a time when we cannot condemn sin anymore or preach against sin. There will be restrictions on preachers from preaching from the Bible. For example, we will not be able to use a text like 1 Cor. 6:10 preaching against fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, homosexuals, thieves, covetousness, drunkards, revilers and extortioners. Why? Because they will be protected by hate laws, and their sinful practices will be accepted by all in society as part of the norm.

How can a preacher bring people to Christ without preaching against their sins? The law of God being the Ten Commandments which reveals their sins will become nullified. A new world order will be set up of religious beliefs and teachings: like what takes place in Mega churches all over the USA. The future preacher will extol the virtues of having a good relationship with God through a spiritual experience, involving the Holy Spirit either in worship or personally, like the charismatic Christians do, who use healing and speaking in tongues. Hence, the word of God from the Bible will take second place to the experience with the Holy Spirit.

When looking at the context of Rev. 13:11-18 we find from our reading that these laws will come from the USA. This is yet future and there will be a worldwide national law to follow suit with further amendments and severe penalties ending with the death penalty. However most of these ‘hate laws’ are already on the books in some countries, just waiting to be used when a preacher or any other person steps out of line.

So remember the next time you preach against sin and there is a ‘Hate Law’ in that country, you might be accused of breaking the law of the land. Hence, if you ignore this interpretation of ‘buying and selling’ you could end up with a prison sentence for preaching from the word of God in the Bible. When looking at this law from a broader aspect into the future, it does not only prevent Adventists preachers, but it will prevent all preachers from every denomination in the world in preaching from the whole of the Bible.

Bible texts used are from the New King James Version.

Daniel 11:45 Which church prevents you from coming to God? https://www.ayindk.com/daniel-1145/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=daniel-1145 Mon, 20 Jan 2014 06:00:00 +0000 http://ayin.dk/?page_id=43 Daniel 11:45 and he shall plant tents of tent/tabernacle of him between seas to mountain of glory of holiness and he comes unto end of him and there is no one helping to him. (Hebrew direct translation)

Daniel 11:45. And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. (Hebrew/English translation)

The word for tabernacles or tents in the Hebrew is “ahole” and is referred to 31 times as a dwelling place or habitation in the Old Testament. In addition, the word is used 165 times referring to God´s tabernacle her on earth. However, when the word is used in relationship to the papacy, it is referring to the substitute of worship in the tabernacle/sanctuary made by man on earth and this substitute is the Roman Catholic Church system of worship. It was never Gods plan to have a substitute of worship. God alone forgives our sins through the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. The Pope and Roman Catholic priests are not allowed to take the place of God on earth and forgive people of their sins. This right only belongs to God.

So the papacy shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain. What do seas represent in Bible prophecy? Isaiah 57:20. But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. Dan 7:3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from each other. Verse 17. Those great beasts, which are four, are four kings which rise out of the earth. These four kings come out of the troubled sea of wicked nations on earth.

What does the glorious holy mountain represent in Bible prophecy?

According to Daniel 9:16 it means Jerusalem and its inhabitants. In Dan 9:20 it means God. In Joel 3:17 it means God, Mount Zion where the temple of the Lord was built and Jerusalem.

In Isa 2:2.3., it means God´s house the temple and the teachings from the temple. The teachings include God´s ways, the word of the Lord and the law of God.

The papacy has planted its churches and substitute of worship and its teaching between the peoples from all wicked nations on the earth, and God, his law and his system of worship. This action prevents many people from all nations in coming to God and the teachings of the true sanctuary in heaven where Christ is our High Priest.

Dan 11:45 “he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.”

2 Thess 2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming.

Rev 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are.

E. G. White references taken at random. www.whiteestate.org

  1. Many of the wicked were greatly enraged as they suffered the effects of the plagues – – -. The people turned upon the ministers with bitter hate and reproached them, saying, “You have not warned us. You told us that all the world was to be converted, and cried, peace, peace, to quiet every fear that was aroused. You have not told us of this hour; and those who have warned us of it you declared to be fanatics and evil men, who would ruin us.” But I saw that the ministers did not escape the wrath of God. Their suffering was tenfold greater than that of their people[1].
  2. Unfaithful pastors have prophesied smooth things, they have led their hearers to make void the law of God and to persecute those who would keep it holy. Now, in their despair, these teachers confess before the world their work of deception. The multitudes are filled with fury. “We are lost! they cry, and you are the cause of our ruin,” and they turn upon the false shepherds. The very ones that once admired them most of all, pronounce the most dreadful curses upon them. The very hands that once crowned them with laurels will be raised for their destruction. The swords which were to slay God´s people are now employed to destroy their enemies. Everywhere there is strife and bloodshed[2].

Revelation 13:1-10 Who does this sea beast represent? https://www.ayindk.com/rev-131-10/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rev-131-10 Sat, 02 Jan 2016 22:00:00 +0000 http://ayin.dk/?page_id=820 Rev 13:1.2. Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads blasphemous names. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

What does sea mean in prophecy?

Daniel 7:2. Daniel spoke, saying, “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea.

Is 57:20. But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

How many beasts did Daniel see coming up from the great sea?

Daniel 7:3. And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other.

What do the symbols of beast mean in prophecy?

Daniel 7:17. Those great beasts, which are four, are four kings/kingdoms, which arise out of the earth.

I would like to add further, that these beasts came up from the great sea and not from the shores of the great sea as many artists have depicted. What is the difference you may ask? Well in Rev 10:1.2., we have a picture of an angel who symbolizes Christ. The angel has one foot on the sea and one foot on the land. Therefore, one could say the angel is on the shore of the sea. This picture symbolizes that Christ has dominion and power over all the earth, the land and the sea. Rev 10:5.6.

However, the four beasts in Dan 7:3. Came up from the sea only, and not from the earth, the land and the sea. This means that the beasts came up from the most populated regions of the earth, which includes wicked peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues. This would include Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. Therefore, I have not incorporated the traditional pictures of the beasts coming out of the shores of the sea. I am not an artist and therefore I am using normal pictures of a lion and a bear and you should use your imagination for the rest.

where else do we have a similar beast with ten horns in the Bible?

Dan 7:7.8. After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly great. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots, And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

(As we have studied in other words studies, the ten horns represent the ten early tribes of Europe. Three were plucked up e.g. Visigoths, Vandals and Ostrogoths. The little horn represents the papacy who was different from the ten political kingdoms because it was both political and religious. The beast in this text is the Roman Empire which was continued by the Holy Roman Empire being the Roman Catholic Church System. Notice that there are no seven heads on this beast as in the sea beast in Rev 13:1. This is because the ten horns representing the ten early tribes of Europe are just beginning, and the seven heads representing the seven religious heads or worldwide church denominations have not yet been formed).

O.K! We have found out from our word study that beasts in prophecy are symbols of super world empires like Babylon, Medio-Persia, Grecian and Roman Empire. The sea beast in Rev 13:1 is also a super world empire both religious, political and financial. This beast came out of the sea, just like the other beasts in Dan 7:3. The sea represents the wicked nations of the earth. Isaiah 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea.

Rev 13:1.2. Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads

Rev 13:1. This sea beast has seven heads.

A word study to determine what heads mean in the prophetic writings of the Bible.

Rev 17:9. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

Rev 17:10. These (seven heads) are also seven kings.

Rev 17:11 The beast (Satan) is himself also the eighth and of the seven (heads).

Rev 13:1. The seven heads coming out of the sea beast are similar in power and authority to the seven heads on scarlet beast which is Satan in Rev 17:3.

Dan 7:6.  And after this I looked, and there was another like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads and dominion was given to it. (The leopard beast is a symbol of the Grecian empire 331-168 B.C. and the four heads represent the four generals who took over from Alexander the Great. These kingdoms although they were military powers, also had a Hellenistic mythological influence on the world.).

Dan 2:37.38. You O King , are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength and glory; and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all – you are the head of gold. (King Nebuchadnezzar was the head of the political and spiritual empire of Babylon Dan 7:1-4. His kingdom was the symbol of a lions head).

Rev 4:4. Around the throne were 24 thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes and they had crowns of gold on their heads. (These are the spiritual advisers and representatives redeemed from the earth. Math 27:51-53).

Rev 9:7. The shape of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like faces of men. (This verse implies military  and religious persecutions with crowns of “Stefenoi” as a symbol of victory).

Rev 9:17. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions.

Conclusion

The word “head” is related to the following: Seven heads are seven mountains. Seven heads are seven kings/kingdoms. The scarlet beast in Rev 17: (Satan) is the eighth and of the seventh head. Seven heads on the sea beast in Rev 13:1-3. Are the same as the seven heads on the scarlet beast in Rev 17: The four heads from the leopard beast in Dan 7: representing the kingdom of Greece,  has a combined political and a mythological influence.  King Nebuchadnezzar was the political and spiritual head of the Babylonian empire. Dan 2:37.38.The head is where the intelligence is situated, and is where moral and spiritual decisions are determined. Spiritual advisers. Crowns on heads symbolizes military victory. Serpent heads do harm. The woman in Rev 12: (The pure church) has a garland of twelve stars on her head symbolizing twelve angels of the twelve churches in the diaspora.

How shall we interpret heads symbolically in the Bible?

The mortally wounded head on the sea beast in Rev 13:1-3 represents the papacy as a political and religious power in the Roman Catholic Church. A golden crown on the head of Christ represents the authority to harvest the world of believers. The seven heads on the scarlet beast in Rev 17: represent the seven heads of the fallen churches worldwide. The seven heads in Rev 17: are seven mountains representing religious kingdoms Fx Dan 2:44.45. King David was the political and spiritual head of the Israelite kingdom. Head signifies power and protection. Head is related to salvation. Spiritual and political rulers. Christ is the head of all spiritual believers. Spiritual decisions. Christ is the head of the pure church on earth. Christ is the head of the body of the church. Christ is the head of all powers in the heavens and on the earth.

The dragon in Rev 12: represents Satan who has authority over the seven heads representing the seven heads of the worldwide fallen church.  The figure “seven” denotes completeness and seven entities in the book of Revelation. It so happens that there is a list of the seven largest churches worldwide. When looking on the internet under Google type, “List of Christian denominations by number of members,” and then look under Wikipedia; there is a list of the seven largest churches in the world:

1. Church of the east: 0.6 million.

2. Restoration and Non-Trinitarianism: 42-48 million.

3. Anglicanism: 85 million.

4. Oriental Orthodoxy: 86 million.

5. Eastern Orthodoxy: 225-300 million.

6. Protestantism: 800 million.

7. Roman Catholicism: 1.2 Billion. (Satan is of the  seventh).

8. Satan: rules over all the churches of the world.

Heads of these fallen churches can mean a pope, archbishop, patriarch or spiritual governing body.

The beast with the seven heads indicate that this beast is a religious institution, because the seven largest churches in the world have sprung from this beast. What is the name of this religious institution? It is the papacy combined with Jesuits in the Roman Catholic Church system. This Church is where all Christian churches of today have evolved from. Because the seven heads are still part of the beast, this indicates that the Roman Catholic Church system has still influence over these churches even though they have separated from the mother church.

Rev 13:1.2. Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns,

Conclusion

Horn is related to the following: The ten early tribes of Europe. The little horn represents the papacy. The little horn plucked up three horns (representing three tribes of early Europe: Visigoths, Vandals and Ostrogoths), it had eyes of a man and a mouth speaking pompous words. The little horn made war against the saints during the Middle Ages. The ten horns are ten kings. The little horn is different from the ten kings, because it is both religious and political. The little horn (the papacy) shall change times and laws Fx the Sabbath to Sunday in Gods ten commandments. The little horn shall reign 1,260 prophetical years (538-1798 A.D.) The goat with the notable horn is Alexander the Great of Greece. The goat´s large horn (Alexander the Great) was broken and four horns (Cassander, Seleucus, Ptolemy and Lysimachus) stood in its place. The little horn (papacy) exalted himself as high as the Prince of Host and took away the daily sacrifice and the sanctuary truth was cast to the ground. The four kings of the goat are four kingdoms. The two horns on the ram in Dan 8: represent Medo-Persia.

How shall we interpret horns symbolically in the Bible?

The horn is a power of strength and salvation. Seven horns are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. The four horns on the golden altar before God. The fiery red dragon in Rev 12: represents Satan who has authority over ten horns relating to political powers in Europe. The beast (Roman Catholic Church system) in Rev 13: has authority over the ten horns with crowns signifying the church has the power to guide the European powers on earth and through out the whole world. The beast with two horns like a lamb represents the two Christ like political powers in the USA, having political and military strength but speaks like the Dragon (Satan).

The ten horns in Rev 17: are ten kings, who have authority to reign with the scarlet beast (Satan), and make war with the Lamb (Christ at Armageddon). The harlot sat on a beast (Satan) with ten horns representing the political and powers of the world. These ten horns (in Rev 17:) are ten kings who receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast who is Satan. These ten kings will hate the harlot (the fallen worldwide church) and make her desolate and naked.

The horn of Moab is cut off (military power). The horn of David shall grow (strength and power). The Lord is the horn of my salvation and my stronghold.

Summary: The horn in prophecy is a symbol of political and military power guided by kings and kingdoms. The exception to this rule is the little horn, which is different; it is both a political and a religious power. The ten horns are part of the sea beast in Rev 13: and the scarlet beast in Rev 17: The ten horns representing the political powers of the world, form some kind of conglomerate with the worldwide church, the papacy and the protestants in the USA, to fight Christ at the war of Armageddon.

Who do the 10 horns represent in this chapter?

This beast has also ten horns. These ten horns in prophecy represent the ten early tribes of Europe:

  1. Ostrogoths.
  2. Visigoths.
  3. Franks.
  4. Vandal.
  5. Suevi.
  6. Alamanni.
  7. Anglo Saxons.
  8. Heruli.
  9. Lombards.
  10. Burgundians.

These ten horns are part of the beast indicating that the Roman Catholic Church System has authority over these European powers. How? We shall discuss this later on in Rev 17:

On the ten horns are ten crowns or ten diadems. In the Greek, diadem is “diadaimata” and means kingly crowns. This reinforces the interpretation that these ten horns are political powers who have the same authority has kings to govern the land.

On its heads were blasphemous names. The seven heads are the seven largest Christian churches in the world. But now we find out that they are not pure churches, but are fallen churches, because they have names of blasphemy on their heads.

The beast from the sea who ruled for 1,260 years during the Middle Ages. Opposing the Bible, the gospel and God. Jews say they keep the commandments of God put practice the opposite in their lives. Rejecting faith and a good conscience. Christians say they are believers but practice otherwise in their lives. Negative words against Moses and God. Sin is related to blasphemy. Persecuting Christ and his followers. Words and a form of godliness but denying its power. Contradicting Gods words. Denying Christ. Refusing to keep the law of God. Refusing to keep the Ten Commandments. Excuse not to believe in God. Lies in God’s name. Making oneself God. False Christian believers. The power to forgive sins is belongs to God only.

These definitions give an overview of what blasphemy means from a Bible word study. They also reinforce that the seven heads are fallen churches in Gods eyes.

Rev 13:2. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion.

Where do the pictures of these beasts come from in the Bible? They come from Dan 7:3-6. The sea beast from Rev 13:1 looked like a leopard, which represented the Grecian empire. Out of the Grecian empire came Hellenism, which had everything to do with learning in Europe, Greek history, Greek language, Greek culture and Greek mythology pertaining to many mythological gods. The sea beast had feet like a bear. The feet of a bear in Dan 7:3-6 represents the Medo-Persian Empire. The feet represent speed when running after its prey and the claws on the feet represent that the victim is clawed and mauled to death in a cruel fashion. The mouth of a lion represents the Babylonian Empire. When a lion roars with its mouth, then all the beasts of the forest become afraid. When a lion attacks its victim, it devours with its mouth.

A short word study on the word lion in the book Revelation.

Rev 4:7. (The four living creatures in the midst of the throne in heaven and around the throne). The first living creature was a lion.

Rev 5:5. Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals. (This lion represents Christ).

Rev 9:8. They had hair like women´s hair, and their teeth were like lion´s teeth. (Refers to Moslem soldiers in the Ottoman Empire going to war against their enemies. They crush their enemies like a lion crushes its prey).

Rev 10:1-3. I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. He had a book in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. (This mighty angel is Christ and raises his voice like a lion).

Rev 13:2. (A beast coming out of the sea). Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. (The sea beast represents the papacy in the Roman Catholic Church system all around the world. When they talk like a lion the nations tremble because of their power and authority).

Conclusion

Lion represents Christ in prophecy, then power, Moslem soldiers at war against their enemies, Christ with a loud voice of authority, and the papacy in the Roman Catholic Church system who talk with a religious  power and authority to cause nations to tremble.

These are the traits, which the sea beast has developed over the years. Hellenism from the Grecian Empire, speed and cruel deaths from the Medo-Persian Empire, and nations become afraid of the roaring lion who devours everything that stands in its way. These are the traits that the papacy in the Roman Catholic Church system has developed over the years. The majority of the members are oblivious over what is happening behind the scenes of this worldwide church. But there is a powerful group of men operating behind the cloak of this church, and their main aim is, to retrieve their lost dominion and that is, power over the whole of the world: The Holy Roman Empire. Who are these men? The Jesuits.

Who are the Jesuits?

Ignatius Loyola

Ignatius Loyola founded the dedicated and powerful Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). Ignatius a Spanish nobleman was born in 1491 or 1495 at the castle of Loyola near the Pyrenees. His career as a professional soldier ended with a leg wound in 1521. Through reading lives of Christ and the saints while convalescing, Loyola resolved to become Christ´s soldier. He hung up his sword at the altar of Mary in Montserrat. Ignatius then spent a year (1522-23) in prayer and meditation at Manresa monastery, seeking total consecration to Christ. He was much blessed. Here he drafted his Spiritual Exercises. Between 1524 and 1534 Loyola studied at Barcelona, Alcala, Salamanca and Paris preparing for service. Then he and six friends vowed to practice poverty and celibacy to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem (this never came off), and to give the rest of their lives to apostolic labors. In this way, the Society of Jesus began. “Jesuits”, as its members were called, vowed total obedience to the pope as, in effect, Commander-in-chief, and under him to the general of the order. Ignatius, a fine organizer, was general until his death in 1556[1].

By 1556 there were over a thousand Jesuits-mainly in Spain. Portugal and Italy, but also in France, Germany, the Low Countries, India, Brazil and Africa. By 1626 there were 15,544, and during the next 130 years the Jesuits grew slowly but steadily. Jesuits were working in almost every corner of the globe.

Jesuits reached a peak of 36,038 members in 1964. – – -. During the seventeenth and early eighteenth century a high percentage of the educated Catholic people of Europe passed through Jesuit schools.- – -. Today, the Jesuits run about 4,000 schools, including eighteen universities in the United States[2].

Though the Jesuit society spread rapidly in Italy, Spain, and Portugal, it was slower in gaining strong foothold in France and Germany, but by the latter half of the sixteen century, it was the advance-guard of the Counter-Reformation. Its chief agencies were preaching, the confessional, its excellent schools-not for the multitudes, but for the well-born and well-to-do[3].

As against his own subjects, Louis XIV`s policy was determined by his conception of national unity and Jesuit influence, especially after his marriage to Madame de Maintenon in 1684; in 1685 he revoked the Edict of Nantes, and made Protestantism illegal under the severest penalties. The ultimate result was disastrous for France. Thousands of its most industrious citizens emigrated to England, Holland, Germany, and America – – -. For France the expulsion of the Huguenots and the triumph of the Jesuits were great misfortunes.

The latter half of the eighteenth century brought to the Jesuits their greatest catastrophe – – -. A large part of the French clergy were also hostile to the Jesuits. In 1764 the Jesuits were suppressed in France. Spain and Naples expelled them in 1767. The rulers of these lands now forced from Pope Clement XIV (1769-1774) the abolition of the order in July, 1773[4].

The tremendous storm of the French Revolution was about to break and to sweep away the church, with the nobility, the throne, and kindred ancient institutions. The Revolutionary leaders were filled with the rationalistic spirit. They viewed the churches as religious clubs. In 1789 church lands were declared national property. In 1790 the monasteries were abolished.

Then in 1793 came a royalist and Catholic uprising in La Vendee and in retaliation, the Jacobin leaders sought to wipe out Christianity. Hundreds of ecclesiastics were beheaded. After the “terror” was over, in 1795, religious freedom was once proclaimed, through the state, as such, was to be without religion – – -. In 1798 Rome was made a republic by French arms, and Pope Pius VI (1775-1799) carried a prisoner to France, where he died.

The military events of 1800 led to the election of Pius VII (1800-1823) and the restoration of the states of the Church. Napoleon, on attaining power, though himself without religious feeling, recognized that a majority of the French people were Roman Catholic, and that the church might be used by him. The result was the Concordat with the papacy in 1801 and the Organic Articles of 1802.

Napoleon

Napoleon, crowned Emperor by the pope in 1804, soon quarreled with Pius VII, annexed the States of the Church in 1809, and held the pope a prisoner from that time till 1814 – – -. Napoleon´s downfall in 1815 was followed by universal reaction – – -. The papacy profited by all these impulses and soon developed a strength greater that it had shown for a hundred years. A characteristic evidence of this new position of the papacy was restoration, by Pius VII, in August, 1814, of the Jesuits, who speedily regained their old ascendancy in papal counsels[5].

If you look in Dan 11:40 www.ayin.dk under the heading “Who are the Jesuits?” You will find a modern update explanation that fits in our day and age. We find that the Jesuits are not a fictitious group of people named under a conspiracy theory like many advocate. They are the backbone of the Roman Catholic Church and they answer only to the Black Pope and him alone, who has the highest authority in the church.

Rev 13:2. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

Who does the dragon represent in Rev 13:2?

Rev 12:17 The dragon was enraged with the woman and he went to make war with rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Rev 12:3. And another sign appeared in heaven, behold a great fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.

Rev 12:4. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her child as soon as it was born.    (Refers to Satan who led king Herod to kill all the infants in Bethlehem in an attempt to kill the child Jesus Christ. Math 2:16-18).

Rev 12:5. She bore a child. (Refers to the child Christ).

Rev 12:6. The woman (the protestant church) fled into the wilderness for 1,260 days. Rev 12:13.14. The dragon persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for e time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

Rev 12:7. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought. (Michael is another name for Christ, and the dragon is Satan).

Rev 12:9. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 13:3.4. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshipped the dragon who gave authority to the beast, (in Rev 13:1.2.)

Rev 13:11. The beast (USA) he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon (Satan).

Rev 16:13. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Conclusion

The dragon in prophetic writings is without a doubt the Devil or Satan working through political and religious institutions. The scarlet beast is Satan. Satan comes out of the bottomless pit. Satan worked through the papacy and the leaders of the French revolution to destroy the Bible and all true Christians in France. Satan is bound for 1,000 years on this earth after Christ´s second coming. The beast in Rev 13:3.8. and the Dragon in Rev 12:3. Are related to one another through the seven heads and the ten horns. Satan himself is the beast in Rev 17:3. Satan is related to the beast in Rev 13:1. and the beast in Rev 13:11. Satan himself is the beast in Rev 17:3.8. Satan is the Dragon in Rev 12:3.9.

Who gave the sea beast in Rev 13:1 his power, his thrown and great authority? The Bible says it is the Devil or Satan who is behind this religious world empire. And he is using this church to deceive the whole world by going against the Holy Bible, the word of God.

Who does the wounded head represent in this text?

Rev 13:3. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.

The head is not the beast and the beast is not the head in this text. The head is part of the seven heads coming from the beast. The seven heads are representing the seven heads of the largest churches in the world as mentioned in Rev 13:1. This head, which was mortally wounded, is the papacy, the spiritual head of the Roman Catholic church.

Even so the head was mortally wounded, it did not mean the end of the Roman Catholic Church system around the the world. This beast was still alive and thriving.

The beast represents the Roman Catholic Church System all over the world and is ruled by the papacy. The seven heads of different Christian churches come from the beast: the Roman Catholic Church System. One of its heads refers to the beasts’ heads and is the papacy i.e., The pope.

Where in the history of the papacy do we find a pope who seems to be slaughtered to death, and his deadly wound was healed?

When was this papal head mortally wounded?

Pope Pius VI

In 1798, Rome was made a republic by the French. On the 15 Feb, 1798, General Bertier at the head of the French army, entered Rome, declared the political rule of the papacy at an end, and took Pope Pius VI (1775-1799) a prisoner to France, where he soon died in July, 1799. Furthermore, Napoleon realizing that the majority of the French people were Roman Catholics, thought that he could use the church for his political policies, made use of a Concordat between him and the papacy. However, Napoleon crowned Emperor by the pope in 1804, soon quarreled with Pius VII, annexed the States of the Church in 1809, and held the pope a prisoner from that time till 1814 – – -. Napoleon´s downfall in 1815 was followed by universal reaction – – -. The papacy profited by all these impulses and soon developed a strength greater that it had shown for a hundred years. A characteristic evidence of this new position of the papacy was restoration, by Pius VII, in August, 1814; of the Jesuits, who speedily regained their old ascendancy in papal counsels.

“A significant event occurred in 1929 when the Lateran Treaty restored temporal power to the pope, who was given the rule of the Vatican City, a section of the city of Rome about 108.7 acres in extent.[6]” So the papacy, was mortally wounded by Napoleon, but this wound was healed over time and the papacy gained strength with the help of the Jesuits.

And the whole world marveled and followed the beast.

We must remember that the head is not the beast and the beast is not the head. The papacy is not the Roman Catholic Church, it is part of a system governing the Roman Catholic Church. So, when the whole world marveled and followed the beast, we are talking about the  Roman Catholic Church system as a whole. This part of the Bible prophecy is to be fulfilled in the future, because the whole world does not follow the beast as of yet.

Rev 13:3. the whole world marveled and followed the beast.

The whole world includes China and Russia, but they do not follow the beast. So what does the whole world mean in this passage?

In the Greek it says not the whole world but the whole earth “γή – gay.”

The whole earth can have different meanings judging according to the context of the text. Fx.

Rev 14:7. Worship him that made heaven and earth. (This would mean where worshippers of God lived in the world).

Rev 7:1. Standing on the four corners of the earth. (This would mean the whole earth 100%).

Rev 12:16. The earth helped the woman. (This would mean a local place on the earth. The woman who represents the Protestant church which was persecuted by the papacy and escaped to countries like Holland, England and North America).

Rev 13:11. Another beast coming up out of the earth. (This would mean the beast representing the USA coming from the land of North America).

Rev 13:8. All that dwell on the earth shall worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life. (This would mean the whole of the world).

In Rev 13:3 when looking at the context, the whole world refers to where the Roman Catholic papacy has ruled during the 42 months (538-1798) that is during the Middle ages. Rev 13:5. They ruled the whole of Europe.

Conclusion

After the papal head was wounded in 1798 the whole world followed the beast. That is to say after the Dark Middle Ages the whole world followed the beast which repesents the papacy in the Roman Catholic Chuech system. How?

How can the USA, the nations in Europe, Russia and China follow the beast. He who controls the worlds finances controls the worlds political nations. To understand what I mean read my understanding of the text Revelation 13:18 about the meaning of the figures 666. It is the papacy who controls the worlds finances along with worlds millionaires who belong to an elite group of men who want to dominate the world.

Rev 13:4. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

The dragon is Satan who gave authority to the beast who is the papacy in the Roman Catholic Church system. Many peoples of the world will come to worship and be members of the Roman Catholic Church in the future because of the following events in this chapter. Who is able to make war with him? Describes how it is impossible to make war with the most largest, religious, financial and political institution in the world. No nation will even try to make war with the Roman Catholic Church system. Not even Putin from Russia.

Who does the dragon represent in this text?

Rev 12:9. So the dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world.

Who is the beast a symbol of in this text?

The papacy in the Roman Catholic Church System.

Who are “they” who worshipped the beast? They would mean all people in the world whether they want to or not. If a church controls your bank account, you bow down and worship the papacy in the Roman Catholic Church System whether you like it or not.

Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?

The beast is the papacy in the Roman Catholic Church System. Because the papacy is both a religious, a political power, and a financial power, no country on earth can make war with the papacy. The papacy can make dogmas enforcing a whole nation to their knees when they withhold the last rights at a funeral, withhold the blessings from a pope to a king or control a country´s finances.

Rev 13:5. And he was given a mouth speaking things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to make war for forty-two months.

What does “speaking great things” in prophecy mean?

Daniel 7:11. I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn (The papacy) was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame.

Daniel 7:20. And the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows. (The ten horns are a symbol of the ten tribes of Europe. The three horns which fell are: The Vandals in 534, the Ostrogoths in 538 and the Visigoths in 508. These three tribes believed in the Arian theology, that is that Jesus Christ was a created being and did not exist with God from eternity. The little horn a symbol of the papacy came up after these three tribes fell).

Daniel 7:25. He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, he shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time. (1,260 years = 538-1798 referring to the papal reign during the Middle Ages. The papacy changed God´s law of the Ten Commandments by deleting the Sabbath day and doubling the covet commandment).

“Therefore, the decision of the pope and the decision of God constitutes one decision. The pope alone is said to be the vicar of God; wherefore only what is bound and loosed by Him is held to be bound and loosed by God himself.”[8]

“The pope is of so great authority and power that he can modify, explain or interpret even divine laws (Change of the sabbath day).”[9]

As regards to the persecution of the saints, over 50 million Roman Catholic members of the church were killed because they protested against the papacy and believed in the Bible during the Middle Ages. www.cs.unc.edu/-plaisted/estimates.html on Google.

Papacy: The system of ecclesiastical government in which supreme authority is vested in the pope.[10]

The priests forgive sins of which this prerogative lies with God alone. Mark 2:7.[11]

Canon 1: If any one saith, that in the mass a true and proper sacrifice is not offered to God; or, that to be offered is nothing else but that Christ is given to eat; let him be anathema. Canon 2: If anyone says Christ did not institute the apostle’s priests; or, did not ordain that they and other priests should offer his own body and blood; let him be anathema.[12]

We therefore confess that the Sacrifice of the Mass is and ought to be considered one and the same sacrifice as that of the cross, for the victim is one and the same, namely, Christ our Lord. Thus (the priests) acting in the Person of Christ the Lord, he changes the substance of bread and wine into the true substance of His body and blood. “Catechism of the Council of Trent for Parish Priests.”[13]

Dan 7:25. He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law.

As regards to the persecution of the saints, over 50 million were killed by the papacy during the Middle Ages. See my websites www.ayin.dk and www.ayindk.com

Rev 13:11. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. (The beast coming out of the earth is a symbol of the USA in North America. The dragon is a symbol of Satan or the Devil Rev 12:9. When this nation speaks like Satan it will have the power to persecute dissenters who disagree with their policies of belief e.g., Rev 13:12-18).

Rev 13:15. He (USA) was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast (papacy), that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. (USA and the papacy shall take part in a union to persecute the saints who keep the Ten Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ Rev 12:17. 14:12. The image to the beast is related to the opposite of those who keep the Ten Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ i.e., Sunday worship with the papacy at the head of all Christian churches in the new worlds order).

Conclusion

“Speaking” in prophecy is related to laws backed up with persecution, with the intent of destroying those who refuse to obey religious edicts from the USA. The USA will speak like a dragon using laws and persecution against those who refuse to bow down to her policies introducing false worship. The papacy introduced laws persecuting the saints during the Middle Ages and over 50 million members of the Roman Catholic Church were killed because they believed in the Bible and not the pope’s false religious doctrines. The papacy spoke pompous words against the Most High God by using God´s authority and saying he is the vicar of God on earth and God´s decision and the pope´s decision are the same.

Rev 13:5. And was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemy.

What does “speaking blasphemy” mean in the Bible?

Matthew 9:3. And once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This man blasphemes!”

Matthew 9:2. Then behold, they brought to him a paralytic lying om a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you.”

Then the scribes accused Christ of blasphemy. Why? Because he forgave sins which is the prerogative of only God can do. Mark 2:7. Why does this man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?

In this text Christ was revealing to the scribes that he was God.

This study on blasphemy is fully written out in Rev 13: 1. on this page.

Conclusion

The word blasphemy in short is referring to the power to forgive sins which is the prerogative of God only. The papacy in the Roman Catholic church use this power when priests and the papacy forgive the sins of their members.

Rev 13:6. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling and those in heaven.

This verse gives us the exact proof of that the beast is referring to the Roman Catholic Church system by comparing the prophecies of the book of Daniel with the book of Revelation. In Daniel 7:25 it says: He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time.

Rev 13:6. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

What does “dwelling” mean in the Bible?

In the Greek the word is σκηνήν = a dwelling or tabernacle.

Matthew 17:4. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord it is good for us to be here; if you wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.

Acts 7:42.43. Did you offer me slaughtered animals and sacrifices during forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel? You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of your god Remphan, images which you made to worship. (Place for worshipping a false god).

Acts 7:44. Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he appointed, instructing Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen. (Refers to the tabernacle place of worship for the Israelites in the wilderness).

Acts 15:16. After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; so the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by my name – – -. (This refers to the house or lineage of David. Christ came from the house of David. Gentiles will seek the Lord when the gospel is preached to them).

Hebrews 8:1.2. We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man. (The heavenly sanctuary where Christ is our High Priest. Heb 4:14).

Hebrews 9:2-4. (Greek). For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which were the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the Holy Place; and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies, which had the golden altar and the ark of the covenant having been covered round on all sides with gold, in which a jar golden having the manna and the rod of Aaron the one having budded and the tablets of the covenant – – -.

Hebrews 9:6.7. The priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing services. But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people´s sins committed of ignorance.

Hebrews 9:21.22. Both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the service he sprinkled with blood. And almost all things are cleansed according to the law, and without shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. (After the earthly sanctuary in Jerusalem ceased to exist in God´s eyes at the crucifixion of Christ, the sanctuary was transferred to heaven and dedicated there with Christ´s blood. Matt 27:51).

Hebrews 11:9. (Abraham). By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.

Revelation 15:5. After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. (Heavenly sanctuary).

Revelation 21:3. Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people.

Conclusion

Tabernacle or dwelling is related to the following: dwelling place for men, place for worshipping false god´s, the earthly tabernacle or sanctuary in the wilderness, the lineage and house of David, the heavenly sanctuary where Christ is High Priest, the tabernacle with the first apartment the Holy Place containing lampstand, table of showbread, The Most Holy apartment containing the golden altar (on the day of atonement and up in heaven), ark of the covenant, golden jar of manna, rod of Aaron and the tablets of covenant. The tabernacle of God is with men in heaven.

How does the papacy blaspheme God, his name, his tabernacle and those who dwell in heaven?

How does the papacy blaspheme God? In the book Daniel A Readers Guide, it says “(The Bishop of Rome) took the title, “Vicar of the Son of God,” meaning that he stood in place of the Son of God to represent Him here on earth. Compare also the title of “holy father” with Jesus’ comments about the use of that title in a religious setting in Matthew 23:9. Note too, Jesus´s claim to be God and have the power to forgive sins, was blasphemy in the eyes of the Jews. (see Matthew 9:2-6).[7]

How does the papacy blaspheme Gods’ tabernacle? 2 Thess 2:3.4. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

In the book Great Controversy page 55, “The accession of the Roman Church to power marked the beginning of the Dark Ages. As her power increased, the darkness deepened. Faith was transferred from Christ, the true foundation, to the pope of Rome. Instead of trusting in the Son of God for forgiveness of sins and for eternal salvation, the people looked to the pope, and to the priests and prelates to whom he delegated authority. They were taught that the pope was their earthly mediator and that none could approach God except through him; and further, that he stood in the place of God to them and was therefore to be implicitly obeyed.”

Forgiveness of sins, was transferred from the tabernacle in heaven Heb 8:1.2. Heb 4:14-16., from Christ as our High Priest, to the pope and his priests on earth. This is blasphemy in the eyes of God and the Bible.

Rev 13:7. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue and nation.

Sct. Bartholomew´s day massacre 24 August, 1572.

The problem with this text is, which period of time are we talking about? The Dark Middle Ages where over 50 million Roman Catholic believers were killed by the papacy or does this refer to a future event as described in Rev 16:12-16 the battle of Armageddon.

In Dan 7:25 It says about the Little Horn (Dan 7:8.24) “He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High.” The papacy at this point of time during the Dark Middle Ages did not have all authority granted to it. However, in Rev 13:7 the papacy had all the authority and power in the world to administer persecutions against the saints of the Most High. Furthermore, the papacy has authority over every tribe, tongue and nation. This the papacy has never had before. Therefore, it is applying to a future event, when the papacy has control over the whole of the world.

The word granted or given is “edothay” in the Greek. This means that the papacy has not the power to make war with the saints without it being given to him from another authority. The first authority is direct from the dragon or Satan. Rev 13:4. Another authority has to come from the ten horns (political authorities of the world) and from the seven heads (religious authorities of the world) before one goes into the war of Armageddon. So this part of the Bible prophecy is yet in the future. It will be fulfilled in Rev 16:12-16 and Rev 17:9-14.

The New World Order

Rev 13:8. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Here is a Bible prophecy yet to be fulfilled in the future. All will be made, to worship in the Roman Catholic Church worldwide. All those who do not have their names written in the book of Life. How do we get our names written in the book of life? By believing in the Lamb of God, who was slain from the foundation of the world. Who is the Lamb of God? John the Baptist pointed to Jesus when he baptized him at the river Jordan. He said “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” Joh 1:29. To get our names written in the book of life, we need to believe in Jesus Christ as our own personal savior. Joh 3:16. We need to repent of our sins and be baptized with adult baptism. Acts 2:38. Ask forgiveness of our sins and be born again as new Christians. Joh 3:1-7.This is a personal experience, which can only be achieved through the Holy Spirit. On top of that, we need to practice Christianity by daily keeping all the ten commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Rev 14:12. 12:17

Revelation 17:1 Who is this harlot? https://www.ayindk.com/rev-171/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rev-171 Fri, 08 Jan 2016 16:00:00 +0000 http://ayin.dk/?page_id=632

Rev 17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, “Come I will show you the judgement of the great harlot who sits on many waters.”

The question arises for the time setting for the whole of chapter 17 in Revelation. Some theologians set the time to the time of writing the book of Revelation during the life of John in the first century. One can do this when writing a narrative or a point of time in history, but not when writing prophetical writings. Theologians who say that Revelation 17 refers to the time of John, do not understand very much of interpreting prophetical writings and I think it is best they stay away from such speculation because they confuse the public.

The time setting is revealed in the first sentence of Rev 17:1. “Then one of the angels who had the seven bowls.” Which angel are we talking about? This verse is referring to a previous text from one of the angels who had one of the seven bowls of plagues. The harlot is in the feminine e.g. she and her. This fits in nicely with the context of Rev 16:17-21 referring to the bowl of the seventh angel. This is the last judgement upon all mankind. When we take a look at Rev 16:19, the feminine pronoun is used for Babylon and the feminine is used for the harlot. Rev 16:19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

So when do the seven plagues fall on all mankind? If we take the view that the time of writing of Rev 17: was in the apostle John’s dag, then the seven plagues have already fallen and Christ has already come. How absurd to have such reasoning! When do the plagues fall? Rev 16: explains each of the seven plagues and who they fall on. Rev 15: is a prelude to the seven plagues. Rev 14:14-20 gives an account of Christs Second Coming through the illustration of a grape vineyard owner harvesting his grapes. The harvester is none other than Christ, who comes to harvest the earth, and gather all his believers and take them to heaven.

Fx. Rev 14:14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat one like the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. This teaching of the Second Coming of Christ is reiterated in the text Acts 1:9-11 when Christ departed from his disciples and travelled to the heavens. ´Now when he had spoken these things, while they watched, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their site. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold two men stood by them in white apparel who said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner, as you saw him go into heaven.”´

Mat 24:30.31. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he is coming with clouds, and every eye will see him, even they who pierced him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of him. Even so. Amen.

When it says every eye will see him, this means every believing and non-believing eye will see him, and even those that pierced him at the cross, implying a special resurrection.

OK, we have located the time setting of Revelation chapter 17. It is in the future, between the time of the seventh plague upon the earth and the Second Coming of Christ.

The next question we can ask ourselves is, who is this harlot in Rev 17?

Before a harlot becomes a harlot, she has to be a woman. One is not born a harlot. One is born a baby girl, and grows up to be a woman, and then if she chooses, she can become a harlot. However, it is a gradual process.

In the Bible the word woman is a symbol of the Church of believers in God. This woman who represents believers, is married to Christ both in the Old and New Testament. Fx.

Jerm 3:14 Referring to the Israelites, Jeremiah writes, “Return, O backsliding children, says the Lord; for I am married to you.”

Is 54:5 (God is referring to those living in Jerusalem). “For your maker is your husband, the Lord of Hosts is his name; And your redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called God of the whole earth. Verse 6. For the Lord has called you, like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a youthful wife when you refused,” says your God.

Ezek 16:7.8. (God is referring to the inhabitants of Jerusalem). “you grew matured, and became very beautiful. Your breasts were formed, your hair grew, but you were naked and bare. When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread my wings over you and covered your nakedness, and entered into covenant with you and you became mine,” says the Lord God.

Hos 2:16. (God is referring to his people). “And it shall be in that day, says the Lord that you will call me `my husband´.”

Rev 21:9.10. Come I will show you the bride, the Lambs wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great high mountain and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.

Ephes 5:25. Husbands love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for her.

Is 62:5. And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.

Rev 18:23. The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of the bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. (“You,” refers to Babylon- Christ is the bridegroom and the bride is the church.)

Conclusion

In the Bible the word woman is a symbol of the Church of believers in God. This woman who represents believers, is married to Christ both in the Old and New Testament.

Who is the woman in Rev 12?

Rev 12:1. Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.

This chapter is full of symbols, so the woman represents the church of all believers. She is clothed with the sun of Christ´s righteousness. Malachi 4:2. Joh 8:12. The moon under her feet represents the churches enemies like the Devil and political leaders who work for him in Revelation chapter 12. 1 Cor 15:23-25. Rom 16:20. Malachi 4:3. The head garland on the woman is a “stephanos” in the Greek and represents a crown of victory, eternal life and glory. 1 Cor 9:25, 2 Tim 2:5, 1 Pet 5:4, Rev 6:2, Rev 14:14. There are twelve stars on the garland. Stars represent angels in Revelation e.g. Rev 1:20, 12:4. These angels look after the twelve spiritual tribes scattered abroad who are Christian believers. James 1:1. OK! The woman in this chapter represents the church of true believers in Christ from the time of Christ in the first century, to end of the 1260-year prophecy in 1798 A.D. Rev 12:6.14.

Rev 12:4. The dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her child as soon as it was born. (This is referring to the time when Christ was born and Satan working through King Herod, tried to kill Christ at Bethlehem, however, Joseph and Mary made their escape to Egypt with the child).

Rev 12:6. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days. (In prophetical writings, one day is equal to one year. Num 14:34, Eze 4:6. Therefore when it says in the text “one thousand two hundred and sixty days” this means in prophecy 1,260 years. This figure is also equal to “a time, times and half a time” in Rev 12:14. When we add this figure up, we have one time plus two times plus half a time which equals 3½ times. One time is equal to 360 years in prophecy. So 3½ times is equal to 1,260 years. Therefore, these two verses in Rev 12: 6.14. reinforce each other in Biblical prophetical time. In addition, the 42 months in Rev 11:2.3. are also equal to 1,260 years in Biblical prophecy. If we times 42 months with 30 prophetical days for each month, this gives us 1,260 days or prophetic years. Hence, there is harmony in these calculations.

When does this woman flee into the wilderness away from the persecutions of Satan the dragon? During the Dark Middle Ages from AD 538 to 1798. This was when Satan worked through the papacy to persecute many millions of Roman Catholic believers in Christ. They tried to conform them to believe in the papacy and their authority to interpret the Bible. However, they would not be deterred; they read the Bible for themselves and became personal believers in Christ as their Savior. They were called Protestants, because they protested against the authority of the papacy to control their beliefs. As a result, over 100 million Roman Catholic Church members, were burnt at the stake for their beliefs and this included their children. This was then a Dark period for the church of believers. The woman being the Protestant church, was persecuted.

OK! Let us come to the last verse in Rev 12:17. And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. This is the last time we read of the woman as a symbol of the church. The Dark Middle ages have gone. The persecutions have disappeared. Satan tries a new method of making war against the woman. This is enlarged in the message to the Laodicea church in Rev 3:14-22. This message to the Laodicean church, is the last message to the Christian church as a whole in all Christendom. From Rev 2: to Rev 3: is a description of the Christian church of all believers from the time of Christ to this present day in seven time periods of history. The Laodicean church is a description of the Protestant church worldwide, just before Christs Second Coming. What is the condition of this church? Christ says in Rev 3:15.16.17. I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot, I wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing – and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked.

Persecution did not work in the Middle Ages, so Satan changed his tactics and made Christians wealthy and their works became lukewarm, neither hot nor cold. Which means they are not on fire to proclaim the gospel or reject it. They are passive and only Christians by name and not by example. When Christ says that he will vomit them from his mouth, this indicates that the woman, the Protestant church as a whole is not acceptable to Christ. He has rejected the woman and she has changed her form and become a harlot, hence mixing with the world and believing in many false doctrines. The woman has ceased to exist as a church representing Christ on this earth. She no longer keeps the 10 commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ as stated in Rev 12:17.

When did this change take place? After the Dark Middle ages and before the Second Coming of Christ. The time period in history for the Laodicean church experience is now, in the present, and not in the future. The Protestant church as a whole has fallen from grace and Christ says I will vomit you out of my mouth.

What does the word “harlot” mean when referring to believers in the Bible?

Ezek 16:15. (God speaking to Israel). But you trusted in your own beauty, played the harlot because of your fame and poured out your harlotry on everyone who passes by who would have it. Verse 16. Adorned multicolored high places for yourself and played the harlot on them. Verse 17. You have also taken your beautiful jewelry from my gold and my silver, which I had given you, and made for yourself male images and played the harlot with them. Verse 20. Moreover, you took your sons and your daughters whom you bore to me and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Where your acts of harlotry a small matter? Verse 21. That you have slain my children and offered them up to them by causing them to pass through fire? (Harlotry in the Hebrew is “zanah” and means to commit fornication, whoring, harlotry).

Josh 6:17 Rahab the harlot shall live. (This was a prostitute living in Jericho, who helped the two Israeli spies to escape from the city).

Jud 16:1 Now Samson went to Gaza and saw a harlot there, and went in to her. (This harlot is a prostitute).

Prov 7:10 And there was a woman who met him with the attire of a harlot (prostitute) and a crafty heart.

Is 1:21 (To Judah and Jerusalem). How the faithful city has become a harlot. It was full of justice; righteousness lodged in it, but now murderers. (The context is in verse 2 and onwards. They rebelled against God. Verse 3. Israel does not know God. Verse 4. God calls Judah and Jerusalem a sinful nation; a brood of evildoers, corrupters, they have forsaken the Lord, they have turned away backward.  Verse 5. You will revolt more and more. Verses 11-13. Ritual and sacrifices are an abomination to God. Also feast days).

Jerm 2:20. (Gods case against Israel). You lay down playing the harlot.  Verse 23. How can you say, “I have not gone after the Baal’s?” Verse 25. But you said, “For I loved aliens and after them I will go.” Verse 27. (The House of Israel says). Saying to a tree, “You are my father.” And to a stone, “You gave birth to me.” For they have turned their back to me, and not their face. Verse 28. But where are the gods you have made for yourselves?

Jerm 3:1-3. (Gods case against Israel). But you have played the harlot with many lovers. You have polluted the land with your harlotry and your wickedness. You have had a harlot’s forehead, and you refuse to be ashamed. Verse 6. Have you seen what backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every tree, and there played the harlot. Verse 8. I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also. Verse 9. So it came to pass, through her casual harlotry, that she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and trees. Verse 13. And have scattered your charms to alien deities under every green tree. And you have not obeyed my voice, says the Lord. Verse 14. “Return, O backsliding children,” says the Lord; “for I am married to you.” Verse 20. “Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel,” says the Lord.

Jerm 5:7. (To Jerusalem). How shall I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken me and sworn by those that are not gods. When I have fed them to the full, then they committed adultery and assembled themselves by troops in the harlot’s houses. Verse 8. They were like well fed lusty stallions; every one neighed after his   neighbor´s wife.

Ezek 16:31. (Jerusalem’s adultery). You erected your shrine at the head of every road, and built your high places in every street. Yet you were not like a harlot, because you scorned payment. Verse 32. You are an adulterous wife, who takes strangers instead of her husband. Verse 33. Men make payments to all harlots, but you made your payments to all your lovers, and hired them to come to you from all around for your harlotry. Verse 36. Thus says the Lord God: “Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotry with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them, Verse 37. surely therefore, I will gather all your lovers with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved, and all those you hated; I will gather them from all around against you and will uncover your nakedness.” Verse 39. “I will give you into their hands, they shall throw down your shrines and brake down your high places. They will also strip you of your clothes, take your beautiful jewelry and leave you naked and bare. Verse 40. They shall bring an assembly against you, and they will stone you with stones and thrust you through with their swords. Verse 41. They shall burn your houses with fire, and execute judgments on you in the sight of many women; and I will make you cease playing the harlot – – -.“

Ezek 23:4. (Two harlot sisters: Oholah represents Samaria, and Oholibah represents Jerusalem). Verse 5. Oholah played the harlot even though she was mine. And she lusted for her lovers, the neighboring Assyrians. Verse 7. With all their idols, she defiled herself. Verse 8. For in her youth they had lain with her, passed her virgin bosom and poured out their immorality upon her. Verse 11. Her sister Oholibah saw this, she became more corrupt in her lust than she, and in her harlotry more corrupt than her sister´s harlotry. Verse 14. But she increased her harlotry; she looked at men portrayed on the wall, images of Chaldeans portrayed in vermillion – – -. Verse 16. As soon as her eyes saw them, she lusted for them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea. Verse 17. Then the Babylonians came to her, into the bed of love and they defiled her with their immorality.

Hos 2:2. (God to his people). Bring charges against your mother, bring charges; for she is not my wife, nor am I her husband. Let her put away her harlotries from her sight and her adulteries from between her breasts – – -. Verse 4. I will not have mercy on her children, for they are the children of harlotry. Verse 5. For their mother has played the harlot – – – for she said, “I will go after my lovers who give me bread and water.”

Hos 3:1. Then the Lord said to me, “Go again love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the Lord for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans.” Verse 2. So I bought her for myself – – -. Verse 3. And I said to her, “You shall stay with me many days, you shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a man – so too, will I be toward you.”

Hos 4:11-18. (The idolatry of Israel). Harlotry, wine and new wine enslave the heart. Verse 12. My people ask counsel from their wooden idols, and their staff informs them, for the spirit of harlotry has caused them to stray. And they have played the harlot against God. Verse 13. They offer sacrifices on the mountaintops, and burn incense on the hills, under oaks, poplars and terebinths. Therefore, your daughters commit harlotry and your brides commit adultery. Verse 14. I will not punish your daughters when they commit harlotry, nor your brides when the commit adultery; for the men themselves go apart with harlots and after sacrifices with a ritual harlot – – -. Verse 15. Though you Israel play the harlot – – -. Verse 17. Ephraim is joined to idols – – -. Verse 18. They commit harlotry continually.

Mic 1:6.7. Therefore, I will make Samaria a heap of ruins in the field – – -. All her carved images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her pay as a harlot shall be burned with fire; all her idols I will lay desolate, for she gathered it from the pay of a harlot and they shall return to the pay of a harlot.

Rev 17:5. (The woman sitting on the red beast). And on her forehead a name was written: Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth. (The word forehead is significant in the book of Rev 13:16.17. because the forehead is where all our spiritual decisions are made. The forehead is used as a symbol in the Old Testament of all those who believe in Gods commandments. This woman or harlot does not believe in Gods commandments anymore and she has become the mother of all harlots, and this name is written on her forehead).

Conclusion of the word study on Harlot.

This word harlot is related to: when Gods people Israel worship other gods in high places. Male images. Sacrificing sons and daughters. Children passing through fire. Rahab the prostitute. Crafty heart. Murders. Rebellion against God. Sinful nation. Evil doers. Corruptors. Revolt. Ritual, traditions and sacrifices. Feast days. Carved images. Idols. Sacrifices with a ritual harlot. Wooden idols. Staffs inform them. Sacrifices on mountain tops. Burning incense on hills, under oaks, poplars and terebinths. Speak to trees and stones as if they are their mother and father. Wickedness. Backsliding Israel. Charms to every alien deity under every green tree. Images of Chaldeans. Immorality.

In relation to Rev 17:1. the woman was a symbol of the pure church and later became a harlot. This church began in the time of Christ and the disciples. It later became part of the Roman Catholic Church. Millions of Roman Catholic believers read the Bible for themselves and became personal believers in Christ and they became Protestants. Many millions of these Protestants were burnt at the stake, because they would not accept the teachings of the papacy. After the Dark Middle Ages, Satan tried another tactic to destroy the Protestant church. Instead of persecuting the Protestant church, he made them wealthy. They became neither hot nor cold in their religion. They became lukewarm and Christ would vomit them from his mouth. The pure church became a harlot. The Protestant church has become a harlot and has become like any other worldwide church, in a spiritual sense. She has departed from Gods commandments and the faith of Jesus Christ. She worships all other gods but not the creator God. The harlot in Rev 17:1 is none other than, a combination of the Roman Catholic Church, the Protestant Church and all other churches worldwide, which have fallen, according to this word study from the Bible.

Another question arises, where does my church the Seventh-day Adventist Church fit in to this prophecy?

The Adventist church derives its beginnings from the Protestant Reformation during the 1500´s, and when the woman (the Protestant Church) ceased to exist at the end of chapter in Rev 12, then a remnant continued, who kept the 10 commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ Rev 12:17. We are the remnant between the woman and the harlot; between the Protestant reformation and the Protestant churches of today; that is in this day and age.

What does “the remnant of her seed” mean in the New Testament?

In the Greek the word remnant is λοιπών and is a genitive plural. The word can be translated rest of her seed that is a remnant of the woman´s seed. In the Greek the word σπέρμα is translated seed.

Mat 22:2.6. The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son. Verse 3. He sent out servants to those invited to the wedding. They were not willing to come. Verses 4.5. Again he sent out other servants. The guests made excuses. Verse 6. The rest/remnant seized his servants, treated them spitefully and killed them. (This parable is referring to how the leaders: priests and kings of the Israelite nation treated the prophets of Israel and killed them). We are referring to a small group here.

Rev 11:13. In the same hour, there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake, seven thousand people were killed, and the rest/remnant were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven. (Explanation: This is the time of the French Revolution 1798 A.D. The earthquake shook the political and religious structure of the nation of France. The rest were afraid and gave glory to God. (The rest/remnant is referring to a small group).

Rev 19:21. And the rest/remnant were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of him who sat on the throne. (Context: This is the war of Armageddon and Christ is riding on a white horse. He is fighting the beast, the false prophet and those who worshipped his image. The beast and the false prophet will be thrown into the lake of fire with brimstone. The rest/remnant who were not part of the beast or the false prophet but were deceived, are a small group compared to the millions who belonged to the beast and the false prophet).

Mat 13:38. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. (seeds are in the plural and are in the minority).

Mat 22:24. Teacher, Moses said that if a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring/seed for his brother. (Seed is in the plural in Greek).

Luk 1:55. To Abraham and to his seed forever. (Although seed is in the singular σπέρματι, it has a plural connotation: From Isaac to Jacob and then 12 sons of Israel etc.).

Joh 7:42. Has not the scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David – – -. (Although seed is written in the singular her σπέρματος, it has a plural connotation because there are many seeds in the lineage from the time of David to the time of Christ).

Joh 8:33. We are Abrahams seed, and have never been in bondage to anyone. (Seed is σπέρμα  and is in the plural).

Acts 3:25. You are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, “And in your seed all families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Again although seed σπέρματι is in the singular it is referring to a plural in the future as in families).

Acts 7:5. And God gave him (Abraham) no inheritance in it, not even enough to set his foot on. But when Abraham had no child, he promised to give him for a possession, and to his seed/descendants after him. (Seed in the Greek is σπέρματι and is written in the singular, however it is referring to a plural as in descendants following Abraham, as in verse 6, but God spoke in this way: that his seed σπέρμα, plural, would dwell in a foreign land).

Acts 13:23. (Subject is King David). From this man´s seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Saviour-Jesus-. (Seed = σπέρματος: genitive singular).

Rom 1:3. Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh.  (σπέρματος is genitive singular).

Rom 4:13. For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. (σπέρματι: dative singular).

Rom 4:16. Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed – – -. (σπέρματι: dative singular).

Rom 4:18 (Abraham) he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your seed be.” (σπέρμα – plural neuter).

Rom 9:6.7. For they are not all Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but; “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” (σπέρμα: plural).

Rom 9:8. The children of the promise are counted as the seed. (σπέρμα: plural neuter).

Rom ):29. And as Isaiah said before: “Unless the Lord of the Sabbath had left us a seed, we would have become like Sodom. (σπέρμα: plural neuter).

Rom 11:1. I say then, has God cast away his people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham of the tribe of Benjamin. (σπέρματος: genitive singular).

1 Cor 15:38. But God gives it a body as he pleases, and to each seeds its own body. (σπερμάτων: genitive plural).

2 Cor 11:22. Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they seed of Abraham? So am I. (σπέρμα: plural neuter).

Gal 3:16. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” (σπέρμασιν: plural) as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ. (σπέρματι: singular).

Gal 3:19. What purpose does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made, and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator. (σπέρμα: plural neuter).

Gal 3:29. And if you are Christ´s, then you are Abraham´s seed, and heir´s according to the promise. (σπέρμα: plural neuter).

2 Tim 2:8. Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel. (σπέρματος: genitive singular).

Heb11:11. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age – – -. (σπέρματος: gen singular).

1 Joh 3:9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for his seed remains in him; he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. (σπέρμα: plural neuter).

Rev 12:17. And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with the rest of her offspring (seed), who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (σπέρματος: gen singular referring to the last generation).

Conclusion

The words seed and remnant are related to the last generation of the true church of believers who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. They are related to believers in God. A few in number. Abrahams seed. All families will be blessed in Abraham´s seed.  Christ from the seed of David. Israel´s seed would dwell in a foreign land. Through righteousness by faith the seed is promised. Abraham becomes the father of many nations. So your seeds shall be. Children of promise are counted as seed. Seed of the sower. Promise made to Abraham “your seed will be blessed,” referring to Christ´s seed and all believers blessed in Christ. Born of God and does not sin.

The Shaking

The Seventh-day Adventist church keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. However, not all the members will be saved in the Adventist Church. There will come a time before the Second Coming of Christ when the church as a whole will go through a shaking. This teaching comes from the text in:

2 Thess 2:1-4. Now brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ – – -. Let no one deceive you by any means, for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

The only person who fits the description of the “son of perdition” is the pope of the Roman Catholic Church. The pope exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. But what about the “falling away which comes first”?

Ellen G. White a prominent writer in the Adventist Church has written the following:

The following book abbreviations can be found on www.whiteestate.org      Write the book abbreviation and page number in “search”.

“When the shaking comes, by introduction of false theories, the surface readers, anchored nowhere, are like shifting sand. They slide into position to suit the turn of their feelings and bitterness – – -.”[1]

“The Lord will not excuse those who know the truth, if they do not in word and deed obey his commands.”[2]

“(The Shaking) is caused by the straight testimony called forth by the counsel of the True Witness to the Laodiceans. (Rev 3:14-22). Some will not bear this straight testimony. They will rise up against it, and this will cause a shaking among God´s people.”[3]

“Those SDA´s who take their stand under Satan´s banner will first give up their faith in the warnings and reproofs in the Testimonies of God.”[4]

“It is Satan´s plan to weaken the faith of God´s people in the Testimonies, next follows skepticism in regard to the vital points of our faith, the pillars of our position, then doubt as to the Holy Scriptures and then the downward march to perdition.”[5]

“Many a star that we have admired for its brilliance will then go out in darkness.”[6]

“Many will stand in our pulpits with the torch of false prophecy in their hands, kindled from the hellish torch of Satan.”[7]

“Ministers and doctors will depart from the faith.”[8]

“The church may appear to fall, but it does not fall. It remains while the sinners in Zion will be sifted out – – -.”[9]

Math 24:24. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. (False prophets can refer to false Christian churches. The elect are Christians).

Math 13:24-30. 36-43. The parable of the wheat and the tares. Verse 30 The wheat and the tares grow together in the church until the harvest at the Second Coming of Christ.

Luk 18:8. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he really find faith on the earth?

“As the storm approaches, a large class who have professed faith in the third angels message, but have not been sanctified through obedience to the truth, abandon their position and join the ranks of the opposition. By uniting with the world and partaking of its spirit, they have come to view matters in nearly the same light; and when the test is brought, they are prepared to choose the easy, popular side. Men of talent and pleasing address, who one rejoiced in the truth, employ their powers to deceive and mislead souls. They become the most bitter enemies of their former brethren.”[10]

Now what does Ellen G. White mean here in this text in the book Confrontation page 608 when she is referring to a large class which will leave the Adventist church? A large group or a large class are the same thing. If a group of people consisting of 100 people are divide into two, they are evenly grouped. That is 50 people into each group or class. If one group is under 50 people, they are in the minority and this is called a small group. If the group is over 50 people, they are in the majority, this is called a large group or class. A large group or class means over 50%, or 50% to 75% of the church will leave the Adventist church before the Second Coming of Christ.

We are talking about over 50% to 75% of the leadership in the Adventist church; over 50% to 75% of the teachers and theologians in our universities and schools: over 50% to 75% of our pastors in our churches; over 50% to 75% of medical doctors and nurses in the hospitals.

“And at that time (of terrible crisis) the superficial, conservative class, whose influence has steadily retarded the progress of the work, will renounce the faith and take their stand with its avowed enemies toward whom their sympathies have long been tending.”[11]

Now when the tares or weeds are sifted out from the wheat in the church and many of the members and little ones have been laid to rest,[12] [13] there are not many members left. That is where we stand as a church before the Second Coming of Christ. The majority of the Adventist Church have joined the Harlot and that is the worldwide Ecumenical Church. That is why when Jesus comes back to this earth, he says in Luk 18:8. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he really find faith on the earth?

However, having stated these quotes from Ellen G. White which are negative as regards to the Seventh Day Adventist church, we can conclude on a positive quotation from her book “Notwithstanding the agencies combined against the truth, a large number take their stand upon the Lord´s side.”[14] Where does this large number come from? From sincere believers in the Roman Catholic Church, the fallen protestant church and all Christian churches worldwide.

I am being realistic when analyzing the text of the Bible from Luk 18:8 and the quotes from Ellen G. White. What constitutes an honest Christian in the book of Revelation? It is he who keeps the commandments of God and has the faith of Jesus Christ. But is that enough?

“As the storm approaches, a large class who have professed faith in the third angels message, but have not been sanctified through obedience to the truth, abandon their position and join the ranks of the opposition.”[15] What does “sanctified through obedience to the truth” mean in this quote? It means faith without works is dead. It is cheap grace. Faith without witnessing for Christ as a lifestyle, is cheap grace and is dead according to the Bible.

What about the two passages in scripture: Ezek 33:7-9 and in James 2:14-17, which many avoid.

Ezek 33:7-9. So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for me. Verse 8. When I say to the wicked, “O wicked man, you shall die!” and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Verse 9. Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. There are not many sermons preached on this text in the Adventist church, because it involves personal witnessing to the public. If we do not witness to our friends and neighbors, then the responsibility lies with us and this may prevent us coming to heaven because of our selfishness.

James 2:14-17. What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? Verse 17. Thus, also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. This is the problem with the Laodicean Church in the book of Revelation 3:14-22. They believe in the Bible, but do not practice all what it says in the Bible. Jesus says he will vomit this church out of his mouth. The church spoken about in Rev 2:1-7 to the church at Ephesus. Verse 2.3. I know your works, your labor, your patience – – -. And you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for my name´s sake and have not become weary. Verse 4, that you have left your first love.

What is this first love Christ is talking about in this text? It is where every member of the church is revealing the love for Christ and the works of Christ´s example to others. Helping people in need and preaching the gospel through witnessing.

Helping people and witnessing is not the same as attending church and sitting in the pews every week and going home and doing nothing for Christ. In fact, there is no record of any church building in the New Testament. All the believers met in homes, which are some of the most welcoming, comforting and most friendliest places on earth. They never met in a cold churches, where one cannot communicate with more than 12 members, at a time, each week.

The first church building was built in AD 250. That is 250 years after Christ and this kind of church setup continued into the great age of Basilicas designed by man, to show his great pride in what he can achieve. Furthermore, we have inherited from the Roman Catholic Church a set up where the priest stands up on a platform and preachers a sermon every week, while the members sit on their benches and say amen! This is the high point for all church members each week. But this was not so, during the times of Christ and the apostles. The early church did not have a church building on every street corner in their home town. The early believers met in homes on a weekly basis, and all participated in the church service and witnessing for Christ to the public. This is how the church expanded like dynamite in Israel and the diaspora during the first century.

So the problem with my own church is, the majority are not witnessing for Christ. They are becoming like the harlot, worshipping God on a weekly basis in large churches. “By uniting with the world and partaking of its spirit, they have come to view matters in nearly the same light; and when the test is brought, they are prepared to choose the easy, popular side.”[16] What we need is, to get back to the time of the New Testament and practice on a daily basis witnessing for Christ, helping anyone in need, and inviting them into our homes for a meal and get together. OK! That is enough of sermonizing. Let’s get on with the text.

Rev 17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, “Come I will show you the judgement of the great harlot who sits on many waters.”

What do many waters mean in the book of Revelation?

Rev 1:15. His voice as the sound of many waters. (Refers to the voice of Christ in heaven).

Rev 14:2. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. (Refers to the 144,000 voices in heaven singing a new song verse 3).

Rev 17:1. Come I will show the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters.

Rev 17:15. The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues. (These people are related to one voice of praise and worship to the fallen church worldwide, which is opposite to the voices of the 144,000 who keep the Ten Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ Rev 14:12).

Rev 19:6. And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunder, saying, Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns.

Conclusion

Many waters are related to the voice of Christ up in heaven and the 144,000 up in heaven. Many waters are also related to the 144,000 singing a new song and the voice of the great multitude praising God in heaven. They also keep the Ten Commandments of God and the true faith of Jesus Christ. These commandments include the Sabbath day which is on a Saturday.

As regards to the harlot sitting on many waters, this represents the worldwide fallen church singing and praising God through false worship and teachings they have received from the scarlet beast. These teachings represent the wine of her fornication in Rev 17:2.3. These teachings are opposite to the Ten Commandments of God and the true faith in Jesus Christ. i.e. the sabbath day which is on a Sunday.
